This was such a great vlogs! I enjoy the vlogs which show Louis properly laughing and enjoying his life rather than stressing about having to edit and sleep.
Hello Louis! Just a quick note!! I know you do travel a lot but please guys, do not risk your lives like that. You are is a very harsh environment. What you were trying to go through isn't only snow, it is a glacier that melted and refroze and was covered with snow!! (Here's Dave experiencing the glacier @3:13). You always need 4x4 when traveling through these types of roads + wheel chains + air jack + shovels + flashlights + proper shoes with snow crampons are a must. Anyway, becareful next time!! Adventure with precaution :)
I swear these Iceland videos couldn't of come at a better time, I'm going at the end of the year and I'm either learning some new things or certain things like not driving on closed roads (which I already knew) are reiterated to me ^_^
PUshing the car is basically my winter, and pretty much everyone's winter where there is snow... Its very normal, and get's you through if you get stuck. And no, just because you have slippery shoes does not mean it cannot be done. You just have to place your feet in the snow to get some grip and then the team effort will get the car out. Works every time :)
Louis are you coming to Chile anytime soon? Since you're in Peru you might as well just come over for a few days! You'll be very welcome here and there's also great vegan restaurants you can try👏🏽😊 🇨🇱🇨🇱🇨🇱🇨🇱
you all gonna agree that louie getting our attention because of his insaneness... 2 uploads in a day constantly n at that place where i think interenet probs..HUGE INSPIRATION BRO keep it up bc i like to visit places through u
Exactly.. we're seeing all this because Louie is taking us with him. Thank You! And the constant respect and playfulness they all showed each other was lovely.
Lol, you guys were all giving such bad advice on driving in the snow! In the future reference, (from someone who grew up driving in snow) 1) NEVER EVER EVER BREAK, (Dave 5:59) you'll just skid of the road or flip over - all you can do is steer. 2) Drive in one or two gears lower than normal, because then you are naturally "breaking" or halting the speed, especially if you come to a surprise downward hill + you can always speed up if you come to an upward hill without changing gears. 3) If it's snowy drive at 2/3 of the recommended speed, if it's icy (like it was here) drive at half the speed. So you should have been in 3 gear doing about 40 KM pr hour. Pretty sure you weren't ;) Pro-tip: next time you try to drive over a narrow road with snowbanks to the side, just get out of the car and walk it across, to see where the curve of the road goes and where it drops off, and then you can easily steer in the car afterwards because you have something to guide you :)
+etotheminusjomegat Yes, maybe if you are very very skilled - these guys were clearly not. Firstly, you shouldn't be driving fast enough that you have to brake, and if you do, you should be doing it by using the clutch instead of the brakes. We have to take snow-driving courses in my country in order to pass your drivers licence and they taught us the same thing - forget that the brakes are there, drive in a low gear and use the gear/clutch to slow down.
Thank you Louis for your compassion to animals. Many of us are aware that you're on the path to a vegan lifestyle and there is such a warm, receptive global community here to receive and inspire you. Though, a recent coat purchase that you made results in unthinkable cruelty to animals that you probably want safe. Please go fur-free to protect those fur-bearing animals that wind up on winter coats and continue to make this planet a better place for us all. If you need more information on and exposure to this specific message on liberating fur-bearing wildlife, check out Veganut on UA-cam!
The whole lot of you are beautiful people. Thanks for making this world a much better place! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

The snow looks so pretty!
They should have put chains around the tires like they do here on the east coast of America during the winter

Why didn't the car come with snow spikes for the wheels or whatever they are called?
