Thanks for all the set up videos Arrma ! 👌 This looks like a tough design 👍 I can't wait for Crazy Hobbies in Australia to get this beast in stock so I can get my paws on one!!! 🤠🦘🇦🇺
I was hoping they did not drench the screws in threadlock this time, wrong. Even after heating I'm stripping brand new screws with proper tools.. I hate that. Love the car though!
The tutorial is great but I've just pull the center diff and 3 of the 8 bolt have snapped on the end caps. No bash time for me for a bit ! Steal and aluminium mixed with loctite = a bad time.
I download 2 manuals, and you refer to your manuals with different weights. For example, one says 1m cst and the other 20m. Fo the front-rear you refer to 100k and the other manual 500cst. what is true?
These vids just sold this car to me. I’m in a wheelchair, and working on my V2 Kraton just destroys me. It takes me way too long to get almost anything done on it. This rig looks fixable under my severe time constraints.
Can anyone tell me how and why rear arms for kraton 8s are Backorder status from the retailers (horizon and even Amazon) same with RPM rear arms as well. I had to drop $75 on a pair of aluminum ones and then wait another 10 days for them to ship. Does this have anything to do with the k8s exb being released? If so can you please explain why, if the arms are more durable? Thanks
"How easy it is to do" uuuunnnlesss arrma used 4 liters of thread-locker which they are quite fond of. . . In which case you need to heat the screws that are metal-metal first or the heads will strip. Helpful video though !
Just like the UDR, and the xmaxx, it helps to reduce driveline stress. I don't think the Losi 5b conversions use one, but those have to use like 750kv huge motors, and a huge esc. With reduction you can use voltage instead of raw amperage. I think this comes with a 1200k or 1500k motor.
@@LawrenceTimme but is 8S, more voltage, and more, more torque with this KV range, this big motor have an amount of torque, the Nm is inversely proportional to speed, and this rigs require brutal torque instead speed, the torque brings more acceleration too.
@@juanmarichal263 no its not a big motor and no its not got great torque. Its only 4685 which is very small compared to a dbxle . Its also 1200kv vs 780kv on dbxle. Its a weak system. It looks lost in the truck. Its also low voltage compared to the size. Its like running 2s on 1/10 or 4s the on 1/8th. A 5th scale should be 12s to have the same crazy power as the 6s truck.
Cool that is what I was looking for. I was just trying to pull the module out on mine ( to replace oil with 20 million and drop to a 39 tooth spur) and noticed the screws going into aluminum motor mount are very tight think its lock tite. I'm assuming red. So need to break out the wood burner.
I swallowed hard when I noticed two things. The 5mm shaft on the motor - hardly 5th scale. I also noticed if u want to upgrade your servo -A 5th scale standard servo will not fit. I want to buy this truggy and get in the same exact setup as in my Losi DBXLE Max5/2028 motor but I see that will be hard as the motor mount won't support a big can. That made me wonder ...... My DBXLE dogbones are 7mm thick - the Kraton 8s are 5.5mm ..hmmmmm. I am also concerned about this T2T Chassis brace.... pins? WTF? reminds me of the Hot racing spool with rubber bands.... A Chassis brace needs to be connected to the Shock towers and not with a body clip for F Sake. We have all seen the bent braces already and Im not surprised. I will build an aluminum plate skinny enough to fit through that center support tower ... and drill holes to properly connect it to each tower. Now don't get me wrong - I have a Senton V2 , typhon V2, Outcast, fazon, Nero and a Kraton V2 ...... Im an Arrma guy... Just some observations - Im getting this rig without a doubt but have a few concerns. Wishing Arrma would've given us a roller version...
Very nice but please just cut out the use of powertools and if showing any screwing, use a hand tool 😵 There are threads! Yes yes, people won't care but it breaks my heart
I wish Arrma could give torque settings for most of the screws like, pinion grubb screw, the 3 screws which hold the motor in especially.
👏👏👏 Awesome Arrma looks like you guys perfected the 7 P’s prior proper planning prevents piss poor performance!
Before the official announcement... I Love it!!!
Thank you a lot for making this video. They help me tons.
That thing is absolutely astonishing!
Luv the new diff design the Brand new Powerplant & smart system 👌 can't wait to Snag one! Now to tell the Wife LOL
Thanks for all the set up videos Arrma ! 👌
This looks like a tough design 👍

A very well structured rig, like very much this chassis plate.
That thing is a beast 😮
Do you possibly have a link to the hex driver bits you are using?
Creations arrma always made all new and distinctive 💜💚 ♥ ️🧡❤️😘😘😘😘😘😘😘👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Cant wait to see the price tag on this bad boy lol. Looks amazing!! Great job arrma!!!!
Ryan Boucher $899
@@sonnice1 good price for this beast.
Do you have a video for the Outcast 8s?
A lot of very small details resulting in an overall amazing machine. Nicely done, nicely done! 👌👍
I need to save up for a big Kraton. Always like how the Arrmas are designed. I like my 8th scale Kraton
I was hoping they did not drench the screws in threadlock this time, wrong. Even after heating I'm stripping brand new screws with proper tools.. I hate that. Love the car though!
So trying to remove the 3 screws on the motor mount, but they’re seized up. What can I do to loosen them up? Thanks
The tutorial is great but I've just pull the center diff and 3 of the 8 bolt have snapped on the end caps. No bash time for me for a bit ! Steal and aluminium mixed with loctite = a bad time.
What hex driver bits are you using?
I just bought mine 2 days ago! 😁

I wonder if i can put these electronics in my infraction 😍
Very helpful
How come you didn’t explain what the gear mesh should be or how to achieve it?
its here Woo
so can i put the engine in another arrma truck and a ecs ? will it give more power?
These vids just sold this car to me. I’m in a wheelchair, and working on my V2 Kraton just destroys me. It takes me way too long to get almost anything done on it. This rig looks fixable under my severe time constraints.
Whats a good esc for me to look into while keeping the stock motor?

Arrma is a great Rc. I need a Arrma banner I can’t find one anywhere please help
Thank you for sharing.
I am surprised to see this center diff design and how it has changed from your 1/8 lineup.
I am curious why the change?
Car was too heavy for a traditional pinion and spur without a second gear reduction with larger gears.
Once your in mode 5 how many times will it beep once car turn on
How big is the output shaft on this motor 8mm or 5mm I'm trying to get a bigger pinion gear..I just bought mine I get it on the 19th
5mm..it took me awhile to find this info too..lol
What kind of power screwdriver is that
Is the motor shaft 8 or 5mm?
Put a monster truck body ! We don’t want another kraton!
Speak for yourself. Actually, go grab an XMAXX.
ryan olson I have!
Outcast 8S is here now 😂👍
Why no loctite on screws?

And where is the video with taking out the center diff without removing the motor?
Lol nice
Interesting to see it has a reduction box.

@@A_Man_In_His_Van this is quite small on 4685 motor at 1200kv, seems slow from what I watched so far. Like a kraton on 4s 😕

Where is the diff removal?
Those screws are so tight do not try this with out a mini torch

Dont forget to regrease your diffs

way too much thread locker from the factory. I barely got it apart
Yeah so easy that after u heat screws up the heads strip out. I even emailed Arrma and so far nothing. Guess I’m being ignored.
I’d never use a power tool on plastic parts
Arrma you how videos are great buy why don't you tell use you guys used a ton to much locktit per motor mount an on the three different

Even this video is slow
Hope we get other anodized color choices besides Orange
