I don't watch wrestling anymore, I don't want reality TV, I don't watch Doctor Who, but I still watch all of these videos. Thanks, Shannon, your character is lovely.
I don't know 80% of the shows/topics discussed here but I'm here for Shannon. I'd listen to him talk about paint drying and I'd be entertained
I can get why media and fans feel like gatekeeping the WNBA, but the players' reaction puzzles me a bit. Sports is the entertainment business and if you ask musicians or directors that a bunch of new people are just discovering their work because of a meme or it was on TikTok, the vast majority would only care that more and more people are being exposed to their work and wouldn't be obsessed by the "why." In their Juno nominated documentary, the Edmonton-based band Ten Second Epic said they just wanted people to listen to their new record and didn't care if they bought it or downloaded it. I think because gender and race are so intrinsically tied up in the league a lot of the discussion ends up (on both the pro- and anti-Clark sides) getting viewed through the prism of narratives and politics instead of "Hey, we're making money." People are analyzing and over analyzing what Stephen A. Smith or Shannon Sharpe say (or don't) about the WNBA when the NHL would kill for Stephen A. "the only thing I know about hockey is the puck is black" Smith to start talking about the Stanley Cup Final (on ABC) no matter how ignorant he sounds lol
Same thing with Taylor Swift in the NFL. Some fans might've voiced their displeasure, some media, but the players by large looked at the situation and all they saw was dollar signs so they stayed quiet lol
Will you watch any of the UEFA Euro 2024 Tournament?
I want to blame the Vegas Golden Knights in part for the influx of NHL gambling, while understanding that COVID losses contributed.
Along those lines, then, I can guess the Golden Knights aren't reaching out to you because of your outspoken takes on gambling. Takes which I agree and support. I hope a really public NHL gambling story burns the whole foundation.
Damn I was hoping y’all would be at Disney when I am later this month.

Rogue was ok. But I thought the prior episode was so phenomenal that it paled by comparison.

Well, it’s August… playing street hockey 🏒 in the middle of the summer is not an ideal time and way to go. Should be played indoors instead.
Also, I haven’t heard of the WNBA beef because of the Caitlyn Clark effect, but this is just hilarious.
