- How to replace the license plate bulb specifically on Mercedes sedans manufactured before 2012, equipped with standard halogen bulbs. For newer models featuring LED lamps, the replacement process involves changing the entire lamp unit, which is covered in separate videos available on this channel.
This particular model at the video is a W212 E-Class 2010 year model.
perfect filmed with one hand and focused the other hand working. thats so difficult especially when doing such small scale replacements ! 👍🏾👏🏼
Yah the one hand video thing is really a challenge sometimes but also fun to make 🫡
Simple, classy, very skillfull video as always :D
Ridiculous how difficult it is to change bulbs on modern vehicles. My 1993 W201’s rear bulbs can be replaced in seconds.
👀🫣😬
Yeah this is too much for something so simple. 🤦🏾♀️😂 I'm here because my left one went out lol.
Thank you sir.
These plug-in fasteners are annoying, and sometimes they break after removal. Regardless, the fitting is not as good as before, so it's better to purchase some for the inventory.
Hello, I'm watching your videos on UA-cam👍🏻 I want to install the same android simulator on my car
Android Touch Screen lnstall-Audio 20/Comand
You are lucky. My face-lift w212 2016 with Led license plate light's, needs more plastic removal to change the complete light's.
I had to change one of my units a couple of months ago.
For such a simple job, it was a huge amount of work.
Unfortunately it is how it is. They want us to drive to mercedes to change a lightbulb it’s just sad, but they are all the same, all car manufacturers.
Yess especially this sedan model with these ridiculous clips, I changed the led light at facelift wagon and thats bit easier with better quality panel and clips.
@@MB212 i changed the license plate bulbs to led.. the square led with the housing that was also really time consuming but it was worth it at the end.
Might be worth mentioning, test the polarity of the bulbs before closing everything back up
👀👀👀
Those are regular light bulbs. Basically a wire in glass housing. No need to check polarity.
👍👍👍👍👍
