Can't understand why anyone would buy anything marketed by Patagonia. They exported american jobs to slave laborers in Asia. Also they have a tremendous sizing problem. Their different for factories don't seem to use the same sizing standards. I would but 3 identical items from Patagonia, one would be way too big, one way to small and one about right. Then the product quality also collapsed. I was a life time customer until around 1990 and then I just couldn't buy their stuff any more.
I just bought their backpacking waders. Wore 5 fimes and the rubber failed. Was expecting more when Im dropping a few hundred on waders. Then I have my friend. "My waders are 10 years old. Bought them from walmart for $50" lol
@@JohnDrach You forgot mention that Patagonia offered to replace them or refund/credit the purchase. You can use the refund to buy 5 pairs at WalMart along with a couple new fly rods and backpacking gear..
So basically this is only good for fishing in knee high water.?

Then buy Simms. It’s that simple. No need to rant. Me? I’ll buy Patagonia.
