Like Britain during the war. "Make do or do without." Bless you for helping the neighbors during this blitz.
May the lord bless and protect you and Coree and the animals
You two are very resourceful. We don't realize how much we rely on electricity, running water and the internet. Take care
Aaron your the type of man a women can relieve on...your a blessing....hugs
stay safe, you are showing how to survive by making due with what you have available in a disaster, thank you
love how resourceful you are dealing with all this.
Aaron you can do it. You did it on your hike and you can do it now. You are a survivor
I keep an AM/FM small portable radio that runs on one 9 V battery or wall current. It also has a TV and a Weather band on it. Old-fashioned but dependable.
Very self sufficient and interesting. Stay safe and take care.
Hi I just subbed. I am from western PA. I have to tell you I am your new biggest fan. . The last video you put out was mesmerizing. There is so much misinformation out there and it is hindering the search and rescue and making residents in all the states affected nauseated. I do know FEMA has been on the ground since day 2. in all states affected. My heart is breaking for everyone in the wake of this tragedy I know those are just words sometimes that's all we have but it sucks not being able to help. I hope all goes well for you Aaron and Coree .Keep strong, they are working as hard and long as they can. Your friend from PA, Pebs W.
That's pretty neat you built an oven. Good job! Hope it works well for you and didn't get completely dismantled by the rain.
Hurricane Helene (prounounced "hell EEN" - Helen is pronounced "hell en") will be one for the history books. I'm glad you're making it through it and your dogs are still spoiled. :)
You are very fortunate really. You probably have not seen the news yet. People are finding dead bodies at their front door. It is all very sad. We all need to pray.
Yall be safe!
❤❤❤🙏🙏🙏
If you had washtub you could use that. Just turn it upside down on fire and leave space for air to circulate. To bake put pot on fire and cover with the tub. And you can set pans on the tub to cook on. That's how I cooked and baked, when not using inside fire place. When I lived in one room log cabin no running water electric, neck in 1969 of when living in hills of Kentucky
..son..welcome to your forefathers way of cooking.. 🤭💜🤭
So glad y’all are ok-Helene (pronounced Hell -lean) brought awful devastation to Florida- Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee even Virginia. 12 tornadoes were listed in our area alone on the Savannah River -we are in Beech Island SC across the river from Augusta GA- it will be late October maybe even November before some residents get power . Awful-just awful. But the Appalachian communities are the worst-God be with you all 🙏
Scavenging people's belongings...uh no.
No thanks.
