Confusing sizing. Website says measure around kneecap or elbow. So that's what I did . So I was exactly a large...way too tight. I cant move. Lol! Wtf?
The Pad Pack comes in Small/Medium or Large/XLarge I measured around my knee cap like the website said.. was just on the Large/XLarge just recieved mine today and the wrist guards are huge and the elbow pads are floppy!! I’m 36, 5’11” and I weigh 82kg 😑 so confusing!
I'm looking at the gaskets for mtb trail rides that go under my trousers. I'm 14" below knee and 20" above what size should I go for? Pads I've tried so far are lose at the bottom and fit at the top or I can't get them past my knee. (And I've lost 2" off the thighs due to injury)
XO The chart recommended I should get a medium but I decide to get a large fits fine but probably should’ve got medium would’ve been more of a snug fit on the side of my knees but otherwise it’s fine and for wearing the gasket it recommended medium got a large but should’ve gotten an extra large if feels a little tight on the back of the knee and and it’s a little bit irritating/uncomfortable overall I would say for the kneepad get the size thats recommended and for the gasket get 1 to 2 sizes higher but leaning towards the 2 sizes higher because of the irritating feeling and it should fit fine together/Separate but it’s kind of pointless to wear both of them together The kneepad is fine just by it’s self and the gasket offers no impact protection but would help against any scrapes if you wear it alone and would look normal under pants. Overall would really just recommend the kneepads so no money is wasted or anything else like that also for the elbow pads it recommended small but I got a medium which fits fine if I got a small it would’ve been way too tight and for the size chart look up 187 killer pads chart size and the chart will be there. I got the 187 pro kneepads and the 187 pro elbow pads not the derby pads or the fly pads for the wrist guards and helmet I did not get from there, I did buy a motorcycle Full head helmet for going down hills and sliding gloves for going down hills and bionic beast mode work out gloves if I’m not going down the hill and want to grab the board more and still have full hand protection from scrapes. Hope this helps let me know if it does 😀
@@archie8782 There's so little sizing info despite being one of the most popular pad brands. I'm 14" above the knee, 13.5" in the center, and 12.5" below. I'm going to buy their small fly knee pads which have the same sizing as the pro pads. Amazon reviews state that they run way too small, but the elastic should break in over time and loose pads are useless. Thank you for this much needed info!

Your charts show sizing based on measuring around the kneecap, which sizing chart do I apply these measurements to?
idk 187 killer pads only list the knee joint circumference rather than the area where the straps wrap around.

I’m 15” above knee and 13” below. The M works for me.... my hubby (17 1/2” above and 15” below) can’t get them on!... edit : the L works well for him.
I'm 12" below the knee and 14" above, ordered a small but they are super tight and difficult to put on. Haven't skated them yet is this normal?
Will these knee pads fit my 30 month old child? If so, what size?

My measurements are like yours, 15" bottom and 18" top (of knee cap)
If I want the 187 Slim, what is the best size to get from you?
What ever number you get you should still order a size up, they fit very tight.
Don't they break in though?
XO do they?
I’m a 13 below the knee and a 16 1/2 above what size Pro Knee pad should I get and knee gasket, I want to Use them both together and separate
How'd it work out?
