I mean I could've done it through trial and error but it just takes too long, he also gives you an efficient build path for your operators so you just don't shit your pants when there's levels where shaw and rope are required
To be honest, genshins "skill" ceiling really only depends on artifact RNG, if you have semi decent luck you can play and do everything. Once you have good artifacts there is practically nothing difficult in the game since they just don't want to add any new endgame content. Genshin is kind of made to be easy, the amount of players I have seen that are around AR50 - 55 and know nearly nothing about artifacts, snapshotting, team compositions etc. its insane and kind of just dissapoints me to be honest.But at least the game doesn't make you think I guess, you can pretty much use anyone and your pretty much fine.
To be fair, Genshin does have a sort of end game content - Spiral Abyss. But again, like you said, it all comes down to have good artfacts there. I stop playing because of this very reason, and other than doing that, you just roll for the next character and play a new comp. Now, I'm playing Honkai Impact, not because it's difficulty ( compare it to Arknight, it's still rather easy), but because it's more fast pace than Arknight, and Arknight makes you grind a bit much more than HI3.

I did lol. I did a quick skim on tips before playing, and upgraded my low star operators, it's not that hard till you need to E2 units from E5 & up + niche units, in E5 it was hard to fight FN till I got lucky with an exusia E2'd M3 her in a heartbeat.
Well I'd say this ak is harder but guide are a thing, but then again even if you follow a guide you still need to use your brain to execute it and/or fit the strategies to your available operators
Even if you use guide, you need to understand the reason and purpose of everything that you will do because not everything will go according to the plan. You'll still need to do some impromptu yourself and improvising. For me, copying guide is harder than trying to understand the meaning of everything in the guide and create my own version.

TL:DR - Arknights is mainly tower defence with a few ops you know are good. GFL is like chess where you have to figure out which pieces are good out of hundreds. Endgame maps are a lot more time consuming. And the game feels a lot more grindy. As you know, Arknights' gameplay is mainly tower defence. Every operator has it's niche and some operators are just good for general use. But the core gameplay remains the same and you adapt to the enemies that appear in the level. GFL, especially for those in the late game, to me is harder, because of the amount of time people can spend just trying to figure out how to beat a level in the most efficient way possible. There are literal hundreds of guns and only a handful are usable in the meta. Especially when we are talking about ranking maps which are the end of the end game where compete in the leaderboards for the highest score. People have reset their games to try battles again cos if they fail they lose points, spend literally an hour thinking about their move, because GFL deals with micro and macro-management in game (micro for kiting and doll formations in battle, macro for what teams to place on which node outside of battle). Some people have even made simulators that try to predict where enemies are gonna go to next because someone figured out, it's not RNG, there's a pattern, time to write code to see if I get a high score off it. And if you're not doing that, GFL feels a lot more grindy than all the other games. It's only levels that you need to grind for, but it takes a literal month to upgrade 1 doll to max. And this can vary depending on your playtime. So yeah, I think that covers everything.
that's why i also play PGR hardest 3D arpg i've played so far, even with lv80 full resonance construct squad it still fkin hard to clear project babel high risk (just like CC in AK)
What makes Arknights frikkin hard is because you can't ooga booga levels even with op operators. I'm having a breeze on ganyu abyss runs but I can't even finish the story with my s3m3 surtr or clear a stage without ever retrying it. The meta in this game has almost no impact to the strategies you can possibly make like its so funny that I struggle on a certain stage with my stacked up 6* operators and then someone in youtube just breezes through it with 3*-4* ops lmao.
Meanwhile at genshin, imagine accumulating 160resin and 5 condensed and grind them, just to loot bad stat artifacts, and start questioning yourself, what had you done these few days, what had you achieved *i cri evritym*

This is throwing overpowered OPs out the window, as a F2P I can confirm this myself, I have some of those OPs and it still ain't easy honestly. FGO is hard in the after the main story and into the lostbelts (specifically 2-3 and up) Genshin is easy as hell, grinding artifacts ain't that hard, the puzzle are simple, and you can beat everything so far with the starting team. Bosses ain't hard either, just eat Adeptus Temptation, with a crit team and see how that goes. Girls Frontline starts off easy, but man does it get hard. Unless you whale but still hard.

Gamatoto only gives me single digit cat food, or none at all. Also, the chance of getting an ulber rare is 5%. I hate and love this game.

If you have big brain and big balls. Like kyo did. You can clear all the stages with lower rarity unit. You dont need all unit to finish the game. This i think, what makes this game shines.
Arknights simply has more micromanagement. You control one character in Genshin and in your head, you manage another 3. However Arknights has 12 total characters in one team.

I mean it's not that difficult for other gacha games to be harder than Genshin. In Genshin you just have to spam clicks and ults while also having a team comp that has a good elemental reaction (and in some cases not even that lol) and that's it.

If you have big brain and big balls. Like kyo did. You can clear all the stages with lower rarity unit. You dont need all unit to finish the game. This i think, what makes this game shines.

Arknights simply has more micromanagement. You control one character in Genshin and in your head, you manage another 3. However Arknights has 12 total characters in one team.

I would love to see large scale multiplayer content like raids come to genshin (kind of like destiny 2) that would actually test your skill, and would prove a challenge. It's just too easy of a game.

Yeah, I'm really bad at this game and is so frustrating for me, I just don't have much patience and sometimes enemies slip to my defenses because my brain just lags so much :$, and when I'm doing someting good and I lose again I forget how the fuck I did the stage last time..., and now I'm stuck in 3-8 because Skullshaterer kicks my ass... again...

As day 1 player on both i don't really have much problem with GI but AK? Despite getting LV 90 on all meta unit I can still fail on some stage and to this day I never play annihilation without guide

genshin is not hard at all genshin is only "hard" when you don't understand building characters but even then its pretty easy (ppl beat the game with the weirdest artifacts ive ever seen) ak is actually hard it requires you to use ur brain and even if you know what ur doing it can be hard
