    Yes it sounds more like a bar with waitress dressed like a maid than a classical maid café. It's interesting.

      Yes sometimes a dive bar (a hole in a wall) could be what you want instead of all pink color tea party cafe.

    Going back some 50 years they were called bar girls or barracudas . Their main purpose is to get you to pay for way over priced non alcohol drinks . Seems like nothing has changed only the technic .

    this is a common "business strategy" where they have employee stand at random spots, and they lead you to a different place- that you wanted to go 1st place,
    so they "tricked" you.

    I am so happy that you are not afraid to switch things up. This is good. I know you have your "Discover" series but this is good too. Everything worked out in this video and it's awesome to get a "behind the scenes" look at the difference between the other "kitty kat" wearing maids who are about that "full" service. I never knew there was a difference.
    But i truly learned many things today, especially the price of things for something like this. Arigato.

    44 US bucks is CHEAP. I tip almost that on a dinner for two at a restaraunt and no one talks to us except to bother and interrupt us (until I tell them to stop) and ask how the food is.
    The girl has to earn a living. I would have tipped her almost that much just because I like making people happy and she was a delightful person.
    Don't expect for people to entertain you for nothing especially school girls with expenses.
    Thanks for the video, I learned some things about the nature of this kind of business.

    • @TinyBitBrit
      @TinyBitBrit 3 роки тому +3

      This is Japan though, she's on a good hourly rate so the entertainment is to be expected if it's part of her job.
      The US seems to have an issue with paying their waiters a decent wage so you've fostered a tipping culture, but please know that most 1st world countries don't operate this way as Waiters generally live on better wages (namely here in Europe) compared to the US, so tipping isn't necessary nor is it expected.

    • @GaiaMiranda
      @GaiaMiranda 2 роки тому +1

      @@TinyBitBrit I've been all over Europe so I didn't fall off the back of a haywagon lol.
      The thing here is...
      They are here more for "entertainment" not for serving food or drink as much, so conversation and the like are not expected from the average waiter or waitress here in the USA or really anywhere. There's a difference and many times in this case they want the girls to divulge information about themselves while they are skimply dressed. It's worth a good tip.

    • @TinoPesenti
      @TinoPesenti  3 роки тому +1

      Uh 🙄 I don’t know what you mean! What you said would be true in third world countries where you see a lot of “sweaty foreigners” by the way why “sweaty”? In Japan COVID-19 or not, foreigners are rare and you might have seen some videos of UA-camrs filming girls here and there but it’s not like a thing here at all! Japanese women are shy and it is really hard to get to interview or simply interact with them especially when holding a camera (look at my other videos, you’ll realize that this video is the only one where I interview a girl). By the way, my friend and I are both married to a Japanese women and we were definitely not looking for anything else than being surprised by the manga atmosphere… I’m wondering why you clicked on the video in the first place???

    she must get bored speaking about the same things over and over lol. most customers must be awkward too, being an introvert its exausting for me to keep thinking of conversation topics, i wonder if she could just talk while I listen lol

      @jeffreyphandani5160 2 роки тому

      Hahahahahaha that's the irony of an introvert, just to have a cinversation u need to think what could be interesting & what probably offend someone as if they all are sensitive, speaking as real introvert here that only manage being talkative when i'm with my close friend

  • @robwebnoid5763
    @robwebnoid5763 2 роки тому

    Here in 2022. If they could only get those prices down by half & then advertise that, they might be able to attract more customers, which may then become a regular/patron. More customers, more income, which should balance out the relatively lower prices than other maid cafes. Price:performance ratio.
