- This was a new restaurant for us, but it has been there for over 70 years. It has a varied menu, and is a favorite of many locals. After several recommendations to try this place, we decided to. We will let you know what we thought!
You should eat the pie when you visit Hoskins; especially the chocolate. The lady that makes them, Ollie Pearl Gore, has been making them there for over 30 years. YUM!!!
We have been going there for about 20 years, every time (multiple times) we visit the area.
I will have to try that when we go back. It'll probably be next spring, but we definitely will do that.

Yes, it is a local favorite. And everything was good. Gonna make sure and get the boneless flounder next time, though.
We've been going there for years, best value, good size portions & tastiest food in MB area. They're closed Mondays & no Dinner service on Sundays. Closed 2 hrs 2:30-4:30 between Lunch/Dinner. Menu only, no buffet. Salad bar is very basic, but you come here for the main courses. This is old-fashioned, down-home, Southern cooking. If you love Seafood, this is your spot. Best Sea Scallops I've had, and you get a ton. Lots of items come in 2 portion sizes, only a couple dollars more for large, take back to your room for lunch the next day! And the sidewalk line moves fast, the crew inside is fast & does it right!
Yes, we didn't even know about this place until a few weeks before this trip. And it was a good experience.

Yes, the next time we are there, we are going to get the flounder fillet. We got the bone-in flounder this time, which was very tasty, but pretty bony.
I've been going to Pawleys Island all my LIFE and never heard of Hoskins. So, it's been a sorta well kept secret! I look forward to eating there, thanks for review
Their flounder filet is probably the best in the area. They also have some good Sunday lunch specials.

Do they do carry out ? I wouldn’t eat out in that crowd even though I’m fully vaccinated Delta variant is out there!
They do offer curbside pick-up, but no delivery. That would be a good option if you're not comfortable with all of the people there. Its a really good place, with reasonable prices.
Vaccinations prevent disease…so your shot is useless for prevention against any Covid.
I've been here before you're better off getting some food from the Kroger up the street
