I am so happy that She hasn’t been in the Marvel movies. I don’t think I’d be able to handle the embarrassment and shame of those who would characterize and obsess over the false image of Her, instead of learning and loving Her as the true goddess she is.
I would Frigging LOVE to see her n the Marvel movies. She’d be such a sexy badass. Also, pretty super Wonder Woman is a version of her. But that’s DC. I’ll watch DC for sure. And I’ll eat Marvel up. Maybe Ms. Marvel too.

Freyja brought me into the path I'm on, for a lack of words, bad things were done to me as a child in a Baptist church. I was lost for a long time till I felt a calling to follow Freya. I may have never seen her in my daily life, I do feel her often. I hope when life ends, I will get to meet Freya. I'm with out a clan, so I find comfort and family in Freya.

Once I began my practice and finally accepted the signs and callings of Freya everything made sense in my life. The path, signs, knowledge finally all flowed and I was uplifted to my highest self. She is an absolute incredible goddess with the love, passion, nurture, understanding and kindness I lacked in my own mother. She is also an immaculate leader and guider. My self confidence, self understanding, and self in general is now complete thanks to her guidance.

I'm not sure if I found Freya or if Freya found me, (a bit of both I'm sure) but Since she has become the most prominent deity in my life my life has improved ten fold! I have been Pagan for 20 years (I'm 47) but it took me a very long time to find the exact deity family for me. Three years ago I knew that it has been Freya all along...

😂 I clicked on this expecting to find a girl with witchy mistirious look talking about her rituals, and I was very surprise to sudently see this intelectual guy with glasses and a microphone.
She came to me in between sleep as the goddess of death… a few days later I learned a dear friend of mine had passed.
I knew nothing of Freya. I’m full blooded Greek and tend to work with Greek deities, especially Aphrodite. Me personally, I embrace my feminine seductiveness but I am also a warrior that has an affinity for weaponry.
I kept hearing the name Freya in my head for the past few days. A few psychics have told me multiple times that Freya is trying to work with me. I just ignored all of that because this is a Norse goddess of the Norse pantheon and I am a Greek. But today I was in this one shop and all of a sudden saw this beautiful statue of a goddess holding a dragon shield, a staff, and she was beautifully athletically built. I saw this sculpture and felt it just call to me. I asked the shop owner who she was and he said “Freya”
That’s when I was like “alright…fine I’m gonna look into this goddess. I’m accepting the call”
Also a lot of her symbols are the symbols that I have seen throughout my life.
I came upon Freya a 2 years agos as i felt driven to learn about my ancestry and how it relates to Norse Metholdogy and to Gaelic traditions. There have been random blessings like support during medical conditions where I feel she directed the doctors and assisted with my recovery. She has also positioned me away from traffic accidents, being in the right place at the right time. If that makes sense. I have created a small stone alter and do receite a prayer to her several times a week. Heck, I even hold a fire ceremony in the spring and fall for her using a small iron pot. filled with herbs and flowers.
I appreciated your "Over view" of this topic. It was much more insightful for me than reading the Poetic Edda. I am trying to muddle my way through it.....it is a struggle to understand it as I feel like there are "scattered" pieces of knowldge. Thank you for sharing the video.
So... I grew up with a heathen dad and I never really worked with Norse gods, I just went my own way with paganism. But last winter when it was very difficult, because we live in a very cold and harsh climate, I found myself working with Thor and Odin to gain the strength to get through hard times. And I did receive great great physical strength from them. Enough to change myself in ways I never thought possible. And I suddenly realized today that Freya is reaching out and has been for a few months. And I know nothing about her. So, here I am. ☺️

I worked with brigid for a year but we have part ways and I have felt a strong pull from Frey’s as well I need a challenge
Before i got a deity conformation reading, i saw a lot of cats and i usually never saw one lol
So i talked to my boyfriend that "Hey these cats reminds me of Freya!"
And when i get a confirmation reading, i now realise those cat i saw was her sending me signs.
People compare her to Aphrodite and completely forget about Isis, even when they share sacred animals

Is it possible to work with Greek and Norse Gods together? For example, I have been drawn to Nemesis, Hecate and Nyx for a while but then suddenly out of nowhere, I got a rune reading that told me to connect with Freyja. I wrote her name down along with other details from the reading but at the time I was going through some pretty harsh family issues , issues with my relationship, issues with my self image etc...
Well a few weeks later , I started seeing these random cats in my yard. They were grey and black. Then my black cat " Nyx" increasingly started to act as if she was in heat ( she is spayed) so impossible.... Right? It was as if she wanted to run outside and look around which is something she's never done. She's 2.5 years old and I've had her since she was 4 weeks old. She's never acted this way.... She would be extremely vocal and active. She was more clingy to me than ever before. I couldn't understand why this behavior became increasingly intense over the span of the last year.
One evening I walked out on the front patio with my fiance' and we saw a grey cat sitting on the sidewalk. The cat was staring straight at me as if he was trying to communicate. He didn't act scared at all like most stray animals. He didn't break eye contact and he was just sitting there still for the entire time we sat out there. It gave me chills.... I told my fiance' I felt like this was a deity trying to communicate with me.
So I began researching which deity is associated with cats and it was Freyja!!!
I knew it was her .... I just felt it.
So... I did what I knew I should and made an altar in my home for her. Researched about the things she likes and did the best I could with what I had and then the next day , two hawks were flying around my house repeatedly.....
My question is , can I still work with Greek Gods ?? Or is this a sign than I am being called into Norse Paganism?

If we consider the possibility that Freyja is a goddess of the dawn, with shared origins with goddesses like Eos, Aurora, Ausrine, Zorya, Ushas, etc. We can start to paint a more vivid picture of her. All of those goddesses are extremely beautiful - and Eos/Aurora are notable for their sexual appetites, associated with red and gold, several of them are notable for their tears or with crying/grief (Freyja's tears of red-gold for Oðr) and are associated with light and dawn (brisingamen may very well be the light of dawn or a dawn star).
This would also make her possibly related to the Anglo-Saxon Eōstre and thus Easter might be a sacred holiday in her worship. It could also mean that, if Freyja is her title, her full name might possibly be something like Austra-Freyja or Ostra-Freyja. Just an idea though.

Will you cover Ashtoreth, aka Ashera? I just met her for the first time last Summer. Her energy is powerful and magnetic, but I haven't been able to find much about her. I know her Name is related to Nirvana/Bliss; I'm pretty sure she's Nibiru/ Nemesis and is gonna be "home" any minute; we'd probably all better aquaint ourselves with her a bit.
We are here to soften and avert the cataclysms that are historically associated with her return; we just gotta resonate to the Bliss state.

One point of contention. There is no attestation that relates the Valkyries to Freyja directly. This is a modern invention. The Valkyries (lit: "Choosers of the Slain") serve Odin and only him. In the Prose Edda they are referred to as 'Odin's Maids', and 'Odin's Disir' in the Poetic Edda. This is a connection that goes far back in Germanic mythology, where female warrior spirits were seen as following the command of the war god (being Odin).

Depends on what you mean by pure Hindu. But brahman is manifested as all, so why not Freya too? Or maybe a sign from some form of parvarti/shakti/kali. They are kind of close.
