curious to find out why you feel the trigger sucks. after watching dozens of vids & reading hundreds of comments on the tp9sf you're the only person who's said that. reason(s)...?
motoz30 thanks for the comment, if you've actually checked out the handgun in person, you'd see that the trigger isn't made very well... How they make the trigger "good" is by using very light springs in the trigger mechanism... bottom line is, the canik SF line of handguns aren't made to last and be shot thousands of rounds. - from a non-biased reviewer that hasn't been paid or given a free gun from Canik / Century Arms International.. just keeping it real. - Beretta9mmUSA
motoz30 It's just my take on them. I sold the older model already, and I will sell the SF this summer when I decide between a S&W 44 Mag Revolver or a Glock 20 Gen 4 in 10MM to add to the collection. Young Beretta and I just added Glock 19X pistols..... Reviews will be coming this summer, but it's between you and I, and the Subscribers who read this message. :) Beretta Sr.
Hi. Help me out. I never held a fire arm and have been contemplating for the past 10 plus years on getting one, but only when I get a LTC and get educated on the responsibilities. People tell me I should start off with a 9mm. A GT Distributors has this one with 2 mags for $369. I showed a veteran this gun, but he was like he never heard of Canik. I'm use to hearing about Rugars and Smiths myself. Other videos has positive reviews on this Canik. Do you think this is a good starter for me to take on to the range and do you feel it is reliable with minimum fails?
I have several Flocks and love them but after putting lead down range with my Canik TP9SF I have to say the Canik trigger is better. Really fun and and accurate gun to shoot. If you don't have one get one for your collection. you won't regret it.
I respect opinions. Also, I appreciate your reviews. However, the TP9sf that I own might be different. IMO, the trigger may be as good as any trigger in any striker fired pistol I shot. IMO, "heads and shoulders" better than any stock trigger . . . in fact, not even close. But that's me and my opinion. Thanks for the review.
Big Beretta, I'm with you when it comes to the grips. I really wish the SF kept the same grip off the original TP9. I'm just happy they got rid of the decocker. The trigger is still good with that short reset, and it's extremely reliable and accurate. Also 18+1! Can't ask for too much more.
I love my original tp9. I think it would be nice if they were still available. Plus they were colorful. Bought a black would love o have all of the colors.
A walther PPQM2 will take the Canik Mags. The TP9SA and SF mags function FINE in the older TP9. Sorry you paid 399 for your SF I scored mine for 324.99.......But I did pay 399.99 for the SA as soon as it released in the U.S. Not sad about paying the 399 for the SA one bit, worth every penny!
Yes, I thought I paid up a fair amount, but the dang things are selling very quickly here. I am gonna put another 300 rounds through it and see if I will keep it. Beretta Sr.
Update: canik worked out issues well. Got mine about a month ago. $299. Has Warren tactical sights, metgar mags with round count stamped on them. Excellent trigger. Pretty good gun.
I'm very interested in the TP9SF but there's one thing I need to know about buying any firearm brand I haven't had yet and that is about the customer service.I do know Century Arms imports Canik but I haven't heard any info at all about things such as turn around time on repairs and if a firearm has to be sent back more than once to correct a problem.I had these kinds of problems with Taurus and don't care to repeat that experience.
very consistent ejection pattern for the brass. My glock 26 tends to throw brass in all different directions, but my 19 is also very consistent and my shield throws brass about 10 ft. never really figured that out.
Labinot Berisha Not the same quality, but close and not poor quality at all. I do not own the handgun any longer, as I am trying to keep my Gun Collection to my Top 60 Guns Overall. 🥳😎👍🇺🇸 Beretta Sr.
ı watched all your reviews about tp9 series.ı sensed a deliberate intention to say and find negative things about this gun.every channel compares tp9 series with last iteration what is the point in comparing sf with first gen.i think u guys are forcing way too much to be objective.ıs it too hard to say if a gun evolves by listening and answering the market and developes continously.
I agree, for what you get, it seems to be a good handgun. Prices are more here because they go quick. The old supply and demand thing. Thanks for checking out the video. Beretta Sr.
ive been watching your videos for a while now and i think what you and your son do is great work !!! i just subbed !! but i have a serious question and im hoping you can help me. im turning 21 in 3 weeks and i was planning on getting a g19 gen4 usa model but with bills and all im not going to have enough by my birthday (my birthday is on the 29 and theres gonna be a gunshow here in dallas that day) so now i only got $500 to spend (including ammo) and ive been looking at this pistol and it seem like a really good gun for the price, would you recommend this firearm ? with all your years of shooting i would really want your opinion, please and thank you.
great vid guys but i was disappointed when yall sold the gen 1 tp9 a while back. silly as it may seem, i just dont like the looks of the newer versions at all
We had purchased 4 of the Gen one and I held on to this Black one as I liked it the best. Still a great pistol that looks almost new. Young Beretta moves handguns faster then most folks, but he seems to really like the Walther PPQ pistols and he is holding on to them so far. :) Thanks for checking out the video. Beretta Sr.

Wow it seems everyone is making a better glock than glock these days. Canik tp9, Walther p99/ppq, sig p320, Hk vp9/40, Springfield xdm/Xd and m&p are giving your standard glocks a run for their money. I think Glock still however has the best practical tactical pistols (34,35,40,41). I'm just waiting on the beretta apx and for Cz to make a striker fired model.
+Peter Gozinya sorry if I hurt your Glock ego. "You" might not know that much if you think the FBI and seals choose Glock for being the best gun. Glocks are good guns and I have a couple but they are nowhere near the best striker fired gun they use to be. The FBI also now says the 9mm is superior to the 40s&w after years saying the opposite. It does say something when the government or military adopts a handgun, but don't put all your stock in that because it's about more than it being the best gun for sure. Also look at the world as a whole and you'll see them guys overseas running a lot of sigs and CZ's. Man I'm glad I'm not a fanboy, cause I can like and enjoy other guns besides glocks.
+joseph cunningham we do get out a lot! Lol and we also own other guns like my Sigs, Rugers, Kahrs, and S&W! But If I had to pick any gun and own only one, take a wild guess at what it would be? Lol yep, because I can find parts and 50, 33, 17, and 15 rd mags for my Glock! I can't do this with any other gun I own! It's just common sense! I would never say a glock is the best gun! Lol but it is the best for me and what I want out of a gun! People who hate glocks are more annoying than the fanboys by far! They whine and cry way to much, it's a tool not a life choice!!!
Seems like a pretty good gun. Quite a few seem to really like them. I looked at a couple of Canik's a few weeks ago. While I do like them, for the money, I'd rather get an XD Mod.2 or even a Ruger American Pistol (OMG! I went there! lol). Or for a bit more, a Glock 19. That's just me. That said, if I did see a Canik TP for $300, part of me could be tempted.
I like that XD Mod 2.... I am told they have a nice 45ACP that will take my XD 45 magazines. :) I did not care for the Ruger American.... To chunky in the grip for me. Beretta Sr.
To this day I regret ever selling my XD-45. The XD Mod.2 45acp is calling me because of that. 13+1 of 45! And it doesn't feel like holding a 2x4. You're right about the Ruger American with the grip, although the small seemed okay to me. It's too bad Ruger won't get rid of the "lawyer features" on the SR series and update the design. I like the thinner and lighter feel of the SR's.

was seriously considering the sf, now not so much. appreciate the heads up.

I love Canik guns. They are the best shooting guns on the market....! I love them.
My TP9SF has a super short trigger reset.
Love that gun...! Canik's are the best...!
6 years later nd Canik is known for best trigger out the box
Wow!!! I thought it was one of my 12 1911 pistols, but you might be right on the Plastic Pistols. 😎🤠👍🇺🇸👏👏
B9USA Sr.
I have a 1 series TP9 SF and its my carry and it works great.
I just picked up a new TP9SF and it has an outstanding trigger. The trigger is superior to any of my Glocks and Walther P99.
I just picked up the TP9SF and it's a great gun.... I got mine New for $300 plus tax and I'm loving it!
how did u guys ever conclude that a Glock trigger could even be in the same league as that of a TP9sf or any of the current TP9 series triggers?
I have several Flocks and love them but after putting lead down range with my Canik TP9SF I have to say the Canik trigger is better. Really fun and and accurate gun to shoot. If you don't have one get one for your collection. you won't regret it.
Deidre Taylor i was thinking about getting one, do u recommend?

Yes I have no bananas
Bought a TP9sf a couple of months ago... Best $329.00 I've spent on a firearm thus far!
I just got one for 289.99, very happy thus far.
@@1977Jackofalltrades ($285 right now at) Classic? ... Saw that too! ... Pretty sure you will grow to love it!

can you please tell me whats the difference between original tp9 and tp9SF and V2????
I like the tag team review, you guys don't step over each other and both have something to contribute.
I enjoy your videos. Thank you!

MrSquirrlee where can I get it for that price
I just paid 215 out the door for new tp9sf. With extra mag and holster package.
Update: canik worked out issues well. Got mine about a month ago. $299. Has Warren tactical sights, metgar mags with round count stamped on them. Excellent trigger. Pretty good gun.
That's a fine shooting pistol ! I enjoyed it at the range today.
Picked up one in August 2022 love the gun love the trigger got the elite SC too

Very informative, great vid
My tp9sf has a blacked out U shape rear sight, are those white dot rear sights stock on yours?
I use my Canik TP9SF mags in my Walther PPQ an also works in my Sig P229 but won't hold the slide back on the last round
Yes Sir your right. Thanks for the answer. Beretta Sr.
Thank for video. Which is beter Sar 9 or tp9sf? Thanks
How does this pistol compare to the Walther PPQ in terms of the trigger and accuracy?
Nice review and watch..
Hi sir
I would like to know the polymer quality on canik compare to berreta apx ,cz p10 , xd and hk.
Thank you

Not a big fan of products from Turkey, but hey, if it goes bang, you just helped make America a safer place by buying it! 8D
What about products from China that are all over your house?
Do they sell a threaded barrel to adapt a suppressor?? I really want to run a can on this.
no, not yet. Gemtech mention they had experimented with a few prototypes but have not produced any for sales as of yet
Can you try sar 9
Hi my friend. Thank you for video and I like every video. What is your favorite. Sar9, tp9 sa, tp9 sf, tp9 elite. Thank you.
BT or SS guide rods for my walther ppq m2 in 9mm ??
They will fit the Walther PPQ 9mm.
I went with the sf upset the original has a double strike capability still a great gun for the price
Mags from Gen 1 tp9 fits the PPQ. 🖒
Yes Sir, thanks for sending in the answer, and for taking a look at the video. Beretta Sr.
Do the TP9 mags fit into the PPQ *M2* as well??
Starting to get the itch to buy a Canik TP9SF ?? Especially since I own 2 PPQ-M2's in 9mm !!
It will give me 4 15Rd magazines and 2 17Rd and 2 18Rd !
You guys never did the mag test, when can we expect it?
285 right now on preppergunshop
I really like my TP9SA version! Goes 💥 every time! Check out my TP9SA video! Carry On!

also will fit in taurus pt111 g2
I paid me 320 nib for the sf only 40 dollars more than my taurus 709 slim i really enjoy that 4.5 in barrel
Are you guy's getting the new TP9 Elite?
I have both of the guns and the Ppq m2
U can get a trigger upgrade and make it so fast for maybe 50 bucks
Not a bad price

Taurus G2c,sig p226 and beretta mags nut in the tp9 with mod

No Glock 34 yet. Maybe next year as we built a couple AR Rifles in 2016.

I wonder that why the american people chose canik tp (polimer) series? Why don't they chose a full steel model like canik s120, p120 or p100?
$399?? $325 here.
$325 is a great price Chris. It is allot of pistol for that money. Beretta Sr.
Thanks. It has over 1200 rounds of all types in the last week and not one burp.... Lovin it!
