- Originally used for dental fixtures, epoxies were created in the 1930s by two scientists, Dr Pierre Castan in Switzerland and Dr Sylvan Greenlee in the United States. The first epoxies were amber-coloured solids but soon became widely available as adhesives. Today, more than 50 different substances known as epoxy resins are available and used in a wide range of different applications. I love resin art so much and want to do it so bad but the fumes and having no ventilation nor yard makes it too much of a hazard, plus I have shedding cats. I could only do small amounts of uv resin.

Actually there's tons of art resins now. No VOCs or harmful fumes are what you need.
I do it in my apartment with cats too. Although I occasionally get a stray hair.
I do wear gloves,arm guards cause I'm messy & an apron.
Just make sure the cats can't or won't jump up, usually by providing a space where they can see what your doing.
Also do it over a large silicone mat for easy cleanup & make sure the cover will prevent or block a cat sitting on it.
I switched to a dehydrator with metal removable shelves so I wouldn't have to wait as long. Otherwise I just blocked the cover from them.
Come on people we need to keep this planet alive come on it is like taking care of a pet you have to fead it to be alive

A calico Ryukin named Shiva, after the Hindu god of destruction and a Black Moor named Wednesday after Wednesday Addams.
They can be beginner in terms of care level but you have to do your research and give it an adequate tank size
