This show fr had me feeling melancholic yet also happy and comforted for a whole month after watching it. Man what an emotional rollercoaster it was, definitely going to have go back for another rewatch sometime soon.
My favourite part is 1:15 - 1:20 Zero Two just seems to convey so much emotion in the shot.

I have something with this opening. Idk how to explain but even though I didn't like the finale that much, it was the first time after a while I watched an anime. It gives me the feeling I've returned to a place that I should never had left. There's something that touches my heart in an incomprehensible but comfortable way.

Кто бы что не говорил (а в русскоязычном комьюнити особенно ненавидят это аниме просто потому что пара умников так сказали), но это действительно хорошо. Оно действительно помогло мне в свое время.
Я лишь частично "ненавижу" это аниме из-за последних серий. Такого бреда я ещё не видел, они там накурились что-ли? сказал я тогда.
Ну отмечу что, исходя из выше сказанного, начало было весьма не плохим и так говорят некоторые, если не многие.

Look, it's true that the ending was bad. But the first 15 episodes were an amazing story that made us fell in love with Zero Two. That made everything worth it.
Agreed. I really loved the somber theme of the show, and I especially loved rooting for squad 13 to find a way to be truly happy. Their lives seemed hopeless. We saw how they were treated as fodder for a war against the klaxosaurs, and we saw how robotically they would live if they made it out alive. While I didn't like the Virm, and while I did feel sad about the fates of our protagonists, I at least feel happy that squad 13 was able to carve out a better world than the one that awaited them. I just wish that our protagonists were alive to see it. All in all, it was an emotional experience, and I reckon that if the show would have been spread to 2 or 3 seasons instead of cramming everything into 1, it would be seen as something close to an all time great.
