Beautiful sincere love seen flowing in this church .Where love abounds in the house so also the Spirit delights to settle rest there and move also there. What a glorious hymn of the church with such powerful meaningful lyrics representing the inner cry of the heart a cry for more of the manifest presence of GOD to be revealed amongst His people "Come [HOLY SPIRIT ] and thy people bless, and give thy word success , Spirit of HOLINESS on us descend.'' O how we need to make more room for the HOLY Spirit to flow more freely in our gatherings .O Holy God return us your people back to you to seek you wholeheartedly in prayer here in your house and then anticipate meeting you here in your holy place . Sanctify your house again!
I am a fan of Mr. John Gearhart, the organist. He is a steady professionalist. I hope that he will work with Jonathan Saint-Thomas before he leaves First Methodist, Downtown. Give of your best to the Master...help this young man become the best he can become. The church moves on, even when he decided to move on. Help Jonathan. I can see what's happening. Don't let the forces of evil persuade your thinking.
Of all the performances of this great hymn that I have heard, this one is clearly one of the best. It is so uplifting!
OK. On UA-cam I've just listened to 100 versions of this, my alltime favorite hymn. This version wins the gold medal.
Yes I agree 100 percent i heard some terrible versions. I love the classic opera type version. The so called modern version is horrible.
The original version is Holy spirit inspired but the new age modern version is just off..
I thoroughly enjoyed this hymn!
It's called fellowshiping, not talking. When the prelude begins....

Lovely Hymn
Excellent treatment of this great hymn. Also sung by the Gettys
This beloved hymn goes well with Psalm 145:13 and also Mark 4:30-32.
Awesome!
Alleluia alleluia
1:12
How does the congregation know when to stop talking and start singing??
They are all music inclined. And they follow the organist.
Awful the way they're all talking during the start.
