Good job guys. First no complaint review!!!All the other media was hesitant to praise it. We had to all read between the lines. Longer 2nd gear. Back tire. Hell if thats the complaints. Thats finally great for the customers.
Test rode one of these and was very impressed, also rode a ‘19 Kawasaki that day to compare and was very impressed with how long the gears were on the triumph. Was up and down the box very quick on the Kawasaki. Triumph have done a great job, will only help grow the sport
I own my Triumph TF 250 X for 3 months now and I love it, ride this bike is amazing so much control so much front in and the bike is so stable and always want to keep on going, the bike is well made high quality components and parts and easy to work on it, I have zero complaints about it and not planning to leave the brand. 🤘🏻
Long Live The GOAT!! if I get enough money I'm gonna buy one it's been 24 years since I've gotten to ride feels like a part of me has been missing I'm an old school 2 stroke guy tho but that bike looks good
Just get a YZ at least Yamaha is still the only Japanese Manufacturer that produces the 125s and 250s. I started out on a KX100 and I have the 23 TC125 with TBI and Electric Start. Not a purist two Stroke but I love my bike. To bad the Laws in Cali over complicate things with the new bike law.
I’ve noticed that bike looked race ready on its first race. Been dual sporting for ten years and hit Glen Helen with the Husky 350 a few times. Being an OG, I’m thinking that’s the bike that could get me back on the track. GH is about 30 minutes away. Hmm? I think I’ll check em out in Corona
Sounds like somebody got paid.... Nah, jk. I expected these bikes to be very good based on the brand and their success in street. I am pumped to see what they can do with the 450.
Great review, not the biggest Swap Moto fan, but all in all, great content! On a side note, seeing all the hazy pollution at Fox Raceway makes me so thankful to live in the greatest state in the Union, Texas. Keep your pollution and million dollar, three bedroom stucco homes out there! Jeez what a dump!
Yeah but, they are trying to go racing, and sell bikes. If it were two stroke… the race team would probably not even qualify for half the races, a lot of racers wouldn’t even want to race a two stroke, they would more than likely be outside the top 20 every weekend. Then nobody would be talking about it, and no one would want it. Like Beta…. Or Suzuki… hell, even Kawi is almost non existent in moto these days. It’s all about winning.
@@rookie3846 While the engine configuration will keep me from purchasing one, it will not keep me from enjoying videos like this one. I enjoy the innovation and am as amazed as everyone else as what Triumph have achieved. I just prefer Two-Strokes. Sorry if that offends you. As to your comments about racing and racers, I have not raced in a long time but I do still enjoy watching the races. I just do so with the sound turned down.
I know I'm in denial but the Americans need to do something. HD was built on racing and then turned their backs and stuck with antiquated ideas. Sad. Mc racing rules.
so if the MX model is called the X, what would they call the woods bike version?! poor name choice when most other brands use X for the Enduro model eh...
It’s unfortunate to see their factory race team have so many motor failures this year across the SMX season. I would bet that holds a lot of buyers back.
Thats crazy my buddy got one and we tested it at a proper mx track and man it was good but definitely had some issues from electrical cut outs where the bike would shut off and not come back on until we hit the seat and had to tighten up some bolts but it was constant. Also the shifting wasn't as smooth and functional as other brands in sense that you absolutely had to use the clutch or it did not want to shift. The pipe sounded weird too like it was always in the same gear or something so it was confusing trying to figure out what gear you were in from sound alone. other than that power was great ergos were great upon further inspection we came to the conclusion its a hybrid KTM/Yamaha clone. With some refinements it will be excellent but still has some issues they need to resolve.
@elijahbavalis6351 , not really. It's only a total of 3 or 4 DNF's, and we don't know if it was pure mechanical failure or damage from contact or crashes. The Triumphs in MXGP haven't had any DNF's that I've seen. Your comment is an exaggeration of reality.
That Doesn’t mean anything for a person who never gets out of 3rd…they race them to the limit and build them to produce the most power, 3-5hr motors …every manufacturer has blown up or broke something…pros break crap all the time no matter the brand…they have better results in Europe anyways , 3rd overall at sardegna

I have seen these bikes at the dealer by me and the quality fit and finish and materials used is best in class down to every bolt
Surprised Triumph produced an impressive MX bike first try at bat, huh? Did you forget who they hired on the design team? Only the GOAT!

I'm most impressed with Don mastering that huge step up! Damn. 👍👌
Add the extra maps add the full exhaust and one more tooth to read sproket and it's amazing
Love the exhaust sound of the triumph!
Great Review , Thanks 🙏🏼 Dudes 👍
Sick Job
I hope they bring out an off road model of this machine. Please.
If they build a KTM engine in a Yamaha style frame and suspension, it must be #1.

lol Pala is in the shittiest county of southern california so it's not saying much. keep warm this winter!
how much does it weigh?
SEAT POSITION LOOKS VERY LOW, LIKE OLD TWO STROKE YZ FROM 2007.... AND REAR SHOCK HAS 50MM PISTON OR 46MM?
parts how hard is it to get parts
If only it was a Two-Stroke...

Pretty sure they thought of that and, the brand absolutely has no intention of venturing into off-road bikes.

If Triumph is still selling dirt bikes in 10 years I'll be surprised.
Triumph is a MASSIVE motorcycle manufacture. They'll be just fine.
this bike seems to be having a really tough time finishing a pro national
It just needs the right rider on it. It's a good bike tho
