I always hated being told I couldn't do something because I'm a girl. F all of them, I was in the Army, I can shoot guns and throw hand grenades because you don't use your genitals to do these things.
Even if you don’t like Cathy you have to admit she cared so much more about her dancers and that they are feeling comfortable than abbys

Abby also made fun of Chloe's eye condition, called her a snake and told her that she's the cockiest (idk how to spell) kid she has ever met. Has Cathy called her dancers that?? Don't think so.
I agree when she is actually teaching them but maybe not when she puts them against Abby and switches out her team every other week for it
@Digby Dooright Yeah, it really is. In a few interviews with Cathy, she said how she basically played a character, and if she was stuck in this contract with Lifetime, she was at least going to have fun with it, so yeah it’s definitely a persona and character.
All that cathy did on the show was just an act she is really nice off camera
I think that part of the reason that Anthony’s dances weren’t getting first place is because he focused too much on the boys looking masculine instead of giving them choreography that can show off their flexibility and the areas where they are most strong/comfortable with.

I agree, they’re amazing dancers and can do so much more than what he put in the choreography. Just as an exemple, they got a perfect score with Johns choreography and it was easily one of the best dance of the show

He insulted the boys by comparing them to the girls and saw femininity as a weakness. Abby and the rest of the women of ALDC are just toxic. They don't go at the dancers or each other specifically because of their gender, but for more petty reasons. That's the difference.

Why was she not allowed to voice her opinion on _choreography_ yet Anthony was allowed to talk badly about Paige, a live human with emotions? When Anthony and Cathy were talking about Paige and Paige went down to them to confront them , Anthony trying to play it off as him giving her advice and teaching her something is bull , because he said it in an attempt to embarrass the girl in front of the audience and to make fun of her to get back at Abby . If he truly wanted to give her advice maybe he should have talked her off stage and away from the audience so she actually understands where he is coming from and not feel embarrassed and learn something . Also I think it’s very rude that he said this to a dancer who worked hard and performed to be greeted by his rude comments in front of the audience . I mean let’s not forget his poor choreography that had the team lose plenty of times and sexist mind set .

Even with Anthony’s questionable teaching techniques, he is a good choreographer. Abby had him as her main coreo for her competition show (AUDC)
Anthony’s choreography for the duet was beautiful but I can see what Abby means, there wasn’t a lot of difficulty and technique. It would be amazing for another show but not a competition piece.

I think Abby was right on when she said he’s the type that he choreographs for himself rather than the dancer and he wants them to give the same energy and look like him , he’s a fantastic choreographer but he needs to work on that and he will be incredible, he did justice with Asia because they both have that fire but not all dancers dance the same
