Yep, I just encountered the same LED headlight fiasco upgrade that compromised my fog lights. I am looking for a solution and came across your video. I'm not alone, so thank you, sir.
Thanks for the video bro. Having the same problem on My 05 Tundra! Just put some led yesterday and notice that My hb indicator wont come on but the lights do go from low to high! Also My truck didn't come with fog lights and im going to add some. We'll see how that turns out!
03 Tundra. Remember to turn off the daytime running lights by disconnecting wire harness under the battery. I had to compromise by using LED headlights and halogen fog lights with yellow covers. Added light bar to have an effective high beam.
That’s weird as fuck, I have a 2000 tundra and I got both sea light for my headlight and fog lights. And I’m getting the issue where my fogs don’t work and my fog button turns high beams on
@@wilbertortiz9469 superbrightleds.com has the stuff to fix the issue. I got a built in resistor specifically for the Toyota - a plug and play type. Solved the issue. Awesome as hell
Yes.. and Yes! I should have done the exhaust sooner. It’s a Flowmaster 40 series, dual in/single out. and i left the resonator at the end by the exit. It absolutely breathes better and sounds fantastic.. 👍🏼
YES, the resistor worked perfectly. I made a video about it. here’s a link to the part needed. you only need 1 resistor, and it goes between the passenger side factory headlight plug and the new LED headlight bulb. www.superbrightleds.com/moreinfo/motorcycle/motorcycle-headlight-load-resistor-h4-led-headlight-bulbs/2932/6284/
There’s a daytime running plug on the drivers side near or behind battery that you unplug that will allow it to work with both. But in all honestly I used h9 bulbs and they put perform any led.
Are you seriously telling me there’s another way around this? i’ll have to check it out, but this sequoia doesn’t have drl’s.. i’ll look into this for sure!
So I replaced my oem with LEDs (03 Tundra 4x4) and sadly now my night time running tail lights don't work- I did put the resistor on the passenger side too. Sadly, got pulled over by the local police because my brake lights do work but not the brake running lights. Has anyone here encountered a similar issue? Thanks.
Halogen bulbs made in Hungary or Germany are ok. I go by the hassle vs reliability and have no trouble. My friend had issues with those retrofit LEDs. I think he has xenon still. The computer is looking for current draw and if I can't save power then I choose simplicity.
Did you ever install the led bulbs in the headlights too? And if so any more problems. I’m about to order and came across your video wondering if it would Just be better to get hid for headlights and fogs....
You need an H4 headlight resistor(only 1)and put it on the passenger side between the new LED headlight bulb and the factory headlight wire connector and you’ll be good to go.. It’s cheap and easy so definitely go for it! 👍🏼
@@toyotafanatics1 hey sir, thank you very much for your videos I’m also a Toyota fanatic i have a 2001 Toyota Tundra and very happy with it. I’m having this problem that after I installed leds headlights my fog lights stopped working
I put Leds in my 2011 Sienna SE from Light Streets, I bought lights for head lights and fog light, only the right side work, but when I put the Hallergins back in they work, wondering if the lights or inverter is defective?

There is a led light with a ballast on it.. I bought those and my fog lights work
Love the headlights on your video's advertisement picture...
I just upgraded my 2006 tumdra headlight and this was really helpful thanks bro

Good Luck, i’m sure you’ll get it all figured out!
I have LED Katana headlights and fog light and both are working well with LED lights on 2003 Toyota Sequoia
The black plastic bracket on the bulb twists off. Insert black bracket and then dust cover. Then twist in the buld. DONT CUT THE RUBBER DUST COVER!!!
If I have a 2008 Sequoia where would I put the resistor on the low or the high? I have both bulbs.
Yes Thank!! Same problem
Nice Goonzquad merch!
Checking to see if that led module fix the fog light problem?
So if I install the LED bulbs in the headlights, and leave the stock fog lights in will the fog lights still work with the LED headlights?
Not with out the resistor.. any LED swap will require the resistor!! 👍🏼
What happens if you put the resistor on both head lights? Will that still work ?? Since I have two resistors coming in??

I have a 2006 tundra V8 4.7 4X4 but I dont have fog lights. Would I have to worry about this problem since I dont have fog light?
Nope, you’re good! try it out, let me know how it goes.. 👍🏼
Did your fog light work after install The “ fog light Resistor” ???
Add same problem on my 03 tundra put in resistor in line and all problems went away
Good to hear 👍🏼
I got LED for my 2006 sequoia from Amazon. No isse. I got ones from "Sealight" did the 3000k for fogs and the 6000k for the heads
Me too. No probs

I have a 2005 sequoia. What led headlights and fog lights should I get? And it sounds like I’ll need the resistor too?
Definitely go with LED's and yes for the resistor.

Toyota Fanatics you may need the h4 relay harness.
What does it look like
Could you please explain more about this plug? Thanks!
Where's this plug located?
