- Janine Jansen werd bij haar afscheid van het Internationaal Kamermuziek Festival Utrecht toegezongen door het publiek van TivoliVredenburg.
De Utrechtse stadsdichter Ruben van Gogh maakte de tekst voor een afscheidslied, gebaseerd op het 'Ave Maria' van Gounod. Alle festivalmusici die op dat moment in huis waren, speelden mee. Componist Bob Zimmerman schreef een arrangement voor hen.

Think she is one of the very best violinists ,quite extraordinary and has an amazing ability to show feeling and passion in her work more actually than any I have heard ...only 1 or 2 others can really do this as well ,and remaining humble and charming and compassionate .....really compassionate .....what a wonderful human being .
