Young men try to preach like this but we young men will never preach like T.F. if we're not committed to God in the same realm or capacity like he was. And you don't get there if you don't walk through what he walked through. He was also in a flow of the Spirit, and heard from God for that hour. Yet, it is timeless! You can't copy and paste this in your sermons. It has an identity that can't be replicated. Thank our Lord that He has moved upon men with open ears and hearts to preach what the Spirit wants said! And thank God for the camera ministry of the POA!

Prayer From The Heart

Lord oft times days come and go, feeling common place and predictable. It almost feels like a rut, like a cycle that won't be broken. Though it can almost feel like a safe place to be in, it may mean that I am not opening my eyes for all that You would have for me. It may mean that I am missing the step You want me to take to fulfill my greater life's purpose.
I ask that You would be with me today, inspiring my steps and watching over the things that I say and do. Help me to see Your hand in all that needs to be done, to see it as an honor and a privilege to work, to play, to live, and to love for You. Bless those who see an "aha" moment a bit if inspiration to see them through. Help all of us to see You and to seek from You, divine moments. Thank You, Father. Amen

The Triumphal Entry got so many things right but the crucial things wrong. Jesus received a royal welcome for shortsighted reasons. Those who cut the branches and spread their coats expected a lot from Jesus. They didn't expect enough.
The triumphant entry represents all of those clear moments when humanity has expressed its strongest wishes for God to intervene, but has mistaken it's own purposes for God's. The opening scene in Jesus' final week serves as a reminder of all the ways in which Jesus' entry into history was misunderstood even by those who were expecting Him. The Triumphal Entry
teaches us to acknowledge Jesus Christ for who He really is.
The readings in this section will not only focus on events immediately surrounding the Triumphal Entry, but will also explore many of the other lessons about the earlier life and ministry of Jesus that might be seen one way, but ought to be understood in another. Our understanding of Jesus Himself has much to do with the way we see and understand the Triumphal Entry.

My thoughts wandered to Amie Simple McPherson and her life in the community. Life in the community is often tricky and treacherous because no one is perfect. The passions, the emotions, the Witch Hunts, the vengeance, the grief, the terror, the betrayal, master minds, the dullards, the turn-coats, the competition, the pride, the friends, the disturbed, the intolerant, the "has beens", the "wanna bes", the supplanters, the rootless, the reckless, the impulsive, the manipulators, the destabililizers, the antagonists, the protagonists, the wheeler-dealers, the Big Shots, the ring leaders, the followers, the "fading charms", the clinging, the controllers, the beastial, the morbid, the frisky, the malevolent, the lewd, the lurid, the lecherous, the unforgiving, the super stars, the spokesmen, the failures, the flunkies, the imposters, the genuine, the innocent, the guilty, the conspirators, the defendants, the weak, the strong, the compromised, the corrupt, the judges, the jurors, the executioners, the magnificent, the sterling, the princes, the papers, the kings, the pirates, the buccaneers, the seamen, the soldiers, the gentlemen, the bums, the thinkers, the captains and the crewmen, the drunkards, the heros. Life in the community is complex and complicated, and convoluted.
I recall a scene in the epic tv series Centennial which I interpreted as extremely and peculiarly evil. The contrast between how women are valued or undervalued from one culture to another is frequently highlighted in the movies. White European men universally tend to be depicted as placing a very high honor value on the White woman.
In this particular scene one of the European Explorers and pioneers married to a Native American woman to seal a breach between the two peoples and guarantee peace. They were pioneering their way west with a young European couple.
There were two Native American women who used a poisonous snake to kill their White European sister, rid themselves of a rival, and marry the widowed European husband to the second unmarried Native American women who was traveling with the group. This was cold blooded murder committed by these two conspiring Native American women. They showed no signs of hate or dislike, they did chores together, cooked together, traveled together. They showed no signs of remorse for their hideous crime. Never spoke a word out of place. And I have seen this shocking scene in other movies where the women's murderous rivalry was encouraged and cultivated and produced and directed by the community of this particular non-Anglocentric, non-Christian, pagan or heathen or hedonistic cultures who adhere to ancient customs.
Personally I categorize this custom as Criminal. I don't care whose culture it is.
So when I meditate and ruminate on these stories, I think of how we here in my hometown of Los Angeleles California must be on the defensive because of these types of hot-blooded, deep-seated, primitive, pagan, and heathen customs which are still very active and very popular among the diverse cultures and Anti-European Movements.
To a Christian murder is despicable. To a pagan, that's just the way things are.
You see people every day for years and you really don't know them at all. You never knew them because they did not want to be known.
The Lesson: We are not all on the same page. We are not all in the same wavelengths. We are not all on the same journey. We are nothing alike. There is no comparison.

Clint A sane thing. First rule do not make the scriptures say what is not there. Isa 9:6 alone destroys the pagan doctrine of the trinity. 1 Tim 3:16 also thousands of verses use the singular pronoun for God. Do the research.
@@hargisP2 thanks for the tip ive never done research before lol the truth does not fear scrutiny so dont be afraid of unbiased OBJECTIVE research from perspectives other than your own - i dont have all the answers so i ask you lol can you explain Matt 12:31-32 from a oneness perspective? And also the baptism of Jesus Matt 3:16-17 i ask sincerely hoping for a new light on oneness theology
Clint A hey Clint :) thanks for your question haha. It’s actually a really good question that had me thinking... I just wanna preface this by saying I am in no way shape or form a bible master lol.. I didn’t even complete bible school and I just wanna hopefully give you some insight into ‘oneness’
So in regards to your question about Matthew 3:16-17 with Jesus being baptised and the spirit descending upon as a dove and God saying “this is my beloved son, in whom I am well pleased” .. I understand how easy it is to assume that they are 3 SEPARATE entities. However, I believe that God is God (The Father) who sent Jesus (‘The Son’ - which is God wrapped in flesh - bc God is a spirit and Earth is a material world so he needed a physical body just like the one you have hence he made Jesus) and then to not only be WITH us (through Jesus) he sent his Holy Spirit that can live inside of us and guide us to be more like Him.
So it’s one God. Isaiah 45:5 - I am the LORD, and there is no other, besides me there is no God
To me the bible is extremely clear and not wishy washy or ambiguous about there being one God... Humans like to complicate things but the bible is very straightforward and simple when it says there is one God and beside Him there is no other.
So then with that in mind, I read the bible (for example Matt 12:31-32 already understanding that there is one God and even when some portions of the bible may not seem obvious I then rely on the rest of the bible ... you don’t read one verse that ‘kind of’/‘maybe’/‘almost’ says something and immediately think that disproves the 1000 times it very clearly stated something like for example that there is One God.

Tim Anderson the old time preachers would have ran these wolf's out of town I came out of the Baptist brain washing, I thank God he gave me the revelation of the AWSOME name of Jesus Christ and being one God, I'm now a member of the world wide Pentecostal movement and if they start allowing TV and trinity preaching leaving it too, stay anointed and full of the Holy ghost and you won't stray
Yum Anderson you don’t preach like this if you have strayed from God. This man was one of Gods most anointed ministers ever. If you haven’t been baptized in Jesus Name you are still living with your sins
