Agree that out of the transfers we're losing, Anthony Johnson and Zach Tobe were big to me. Excited to see CIP (Central Illinois Power) next season, especially if Kaden can be the bellcow and Lunney unlocks the playbook for screens and wheel routes for Laughery. My concern for Laughery would be injury - it could be Shawn Miller deja vu again. We desperately need CBs and to be conscious of the WRs we're getting out of the portal. Capka-Jones made some good catches in spring, but I'm hoping we can get a WR a caliber or two above him and Mario Sanders.

Great content guys. Been an Illinois fan since 1972. Do you believe Brett is the guy to get this thing going? It's sad to think my favorite Illinois season was 1983-84. Undefeated in the Big Ten. We have been to 17 bowl games in 51 yrs. Keep up the good work. Looking forward to your upcoming shows

Are all of the RBs going to be healthy? All of the bruiser seem to get injured. In the spring game, it was really thin.

The expectations should be high. Brett absolutely inherited an uneven roster with a strong group of core vets and not much in the pipeline from a young player perspective. He and his staff should get credit for the development of those players into NFL Draft picks. The challenge on the other side of that argument is that they still have not since capitalized on that on the recruiting trail. Now that all of those players are gone Brett and the staff need to hit on the next wave of development and start recruiting higher level players more consistently.

Since starting 7 and 1 in 2022, we're 6 and 11. Need to see at least a 7 and 5 record this season. Schedule isn't that daunting.

Stop comparing this team to where the program has been. If the guy before you sucked at their job, it does not give you a pass to be incompetent.
