My favourite story in Qur'an was surah Yusuf .. that entire chapter is like a continuous story narration

    • @ArdoBlueMoon
      @ArdoBlueMoon 4 роки тому +4

This is my favourite too. It's written like an epic saga. It starts with a dream, then Yusuf is betrayed by his brothers, sold as a slave, goes through a number of trials and ends up in prison, he is taught the interpretation of dreams and eventually becomes prime minister and leads Egypt through a period of drought as well as harvest. The same brothers who betrayed him, are now beggibg him for food. His father turns blind with grief, when Binyamin is taken captive, but tells his sons to never lose hope in Allah's Soothing Mercy. Yusuf then forgives his brothers when they repent and cures his father's blindness through his shirt.
The whole family is the reunited and the very same dream at the beginning comes to pass. He then thanks Allah for everything, the good and the hardship and asks to die in the state of being a Muslim.
It's a story that provides hope to anyone in darkness and reminds everyone to never lose hope in Allah's Mercy, to complain about your grief and hardship to Allah, to forgive, and to be thankful for everything.

Joseph was rejected by his 12 brothers (tribes of Israel), then they sold him to the pagans. He was persecuted and humiliated, became a servant, then he became exalted, second only to the Pharaoh, became the saviour of Egypt. Then his brothers didnt recognize him on the first comming, but at the second.
Does this sound familiar to you?
Jesus was rejected by the 12 tribes of Israel, sold to the pagans for 30 pieces of silver, he was a servant, was humiliated and persecuted, then after His resurrection he was exalted, the saviour of the World, second only to the Father and right now His brothers do not recognize Him as their long awaited Messiah until His second comming.

      @Truth Unveiled for some reasons
1 Because Suleiman (pbuh) was probably the most powerful prophet ever lived, he had not only men at his service but also jinns and animals. So He deserves a mention in the book of Allah.
2 The Ants speaking are not only an evidence of Prophet's Suleiman ability to hear small animals' voices but also his ability to understand their languages. Today zoologists discovered that ants have their own language made by small sound waves. So Allah Almighty make us understand with this story how great is the benefit He gave to this man, he could even hear a small ant, for that he smiled and thanked Allah. and i too i smiled reading about Sulemein's smiling the first time, Allah gives us huge meaning of life with few words, that only Allah gave Suleiman this ability, everything in the Quran underlines the omnipotence of the creator.

    Summary of sura kahaf..
    Naming:
This Surah has been named from 9 verses of the first Ruku ِۡذۡ وَوَى الۡفِتۡيَةُ لَِلَى الۡكَهۡفِ. This means giving the name, it is a chapter in which the word al-Kahf.
    The time of revelation:
From here the surahs revealed in the third chapter of the Makki life of the Prophet (peace be upon him) begin. I have divided Makki life into four big chapters. The details of this are given in the introduction to Surah An-Nam. According to this section, the third chapter extends from about 5 ninety years to 10 ninety years. In contrast to the previous chapters, this chapter is characterized by the fact that in the previous two chapters, the Quraish used to ridicule, ridicule, object, slander, accuse, intimidate, and, in most cases, to upset the Prophet (peace be upon him) and his movement and Jamaat. Was relying on anti-propaganda. But when it comes to this third chapter, they use the weapons of oppression, persecution, beatings and economic pressure very strictly. Even a large number of Muslims had to leave the country for Abyssinia. And the rest of the Muslims and with them the Prophet (peace be upon him) and his family and descendants have to live a life of blockade in the Abu Talib Giri cave amidst complete economic and social boycott. Nevertheless, the Prophet (peace be upon him) was patronized by two major branches of the Quraish as a result of the personal influence of two important people, such as Abu Taleb and Hazrat Khadija, the mother of the believers. This chapter ends with the death of these two in the year 90. Then begins the fourth chapter. In this last chapter it became impossible for the Muslims to live in Makkah. Even in the end, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) had to leave Makkah with all the Muslims.
Considering the content of Surah Al-Kahf, it is clear that this Surah was revealed at the beginning of the third chapter of the Meccan period. At that time oppression, opposition and obstruction reached their peak but the Muslims did not migrate to Abyssinia yet. Then the Muslims who were being persecuted were told the story of the Companions of the Cave so that their courage would increase and they would know what the believers had already done to save their faith.
    Content and keynote address:
This Surah was revealed in response to the three questions that the polytheists of Makkah asked the Prophet (peace be upon him) on the advice of the People of the Book to test him. There were three questions: One, who were the companions of Kahf? Two, what is the incident of Khidr and its significance? 1 Three, what is the incident of Zulkarnain? All three stories relate to the history of Christians and Jews. There was no practice of it in Hijaz. So the People of the Book chose these to know whether Muhammad (peace be upon him) really had any means of knowledge of the unseen. But Allah did not stop with the full answer of these words through the mouth of His Prophet, but at the same time He made these three events perfectly compatible with the situation prevailing between disbelief and Islam in Makkah at that time.
    1. According to the hadith, the second question was about the soul. This is answered in the 10 Ruku of the Children of Israel. But there is a gap of a few years between the time of the revelation of Surah Al-Kahf and the Children of Israel. And in Surah Al-Kahf, three stories have been narrated instead of two. So in my opinion, the second question was about Hazrat Khizr, not about Ruh. There is such a hint in the Qur'an itself, from which my opinion can be supported. (See note 61)
One: The Companions said about Kahf that they were the proponents of this Qur'an which is preaching Tawheed. Their condition was no different from that of the handful of oppressed Muslims in Makkah, and the attitude and role of their nation was no different from that of the Quraish infidels of Makkah. Believers are then taught from this story that if the disbelievers have been given unlimited power and domination, and as a result of their persecution the believer has lost the right to breathe in society, he should not bow down to its invalidity but rely on Allah. Should leave the country. In this connection, the disbelievers of Makkah have been told that the story of Kahf among the Companions is a proof of the correctness of the belief in the Hereafter. Just as Allah raised the Companions of the Cave after a long period of sleep, so what happens if you refuse to accept resurrection after death is not beyond the power of Allah.
Two: The story of the persecution of the small neo-Muslim Jamaat in Makkah by the chiefs and well-to-do families of Makkah and the way in which they were treated with hatred and contempt by the Companions has been discussed. In this connection, on the one hand, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) has been instructed not to compromise with these oppressors and not to give any importance to these great people in dealing with his poor companions. On the other hand, these rich and chiefs have been admonished not to forget the splendor of their two days of luxurious life, but to seek eternal and lasting welfare.
Three: In the context of this discussion, the story of Khizr and Musa has been narrated in such a way that it answers the questions of the disbelievers and also provides comfort to the believers. The main lesson taught in this story is that since the purpose and welfare of this great creation of God is hidden from your sight, you should ask in amazement why it happened. What happened? This is a big loss! But if the veil is lifted, then you will know for yourself that everything that is happening here is happening and that in the end there is some good as a result of the damage being done.
Four: Then the story of Zulkarnain is told. There the questioners are taught that you have become arrogant in the lure of this little chieftaincy, but look at Zulkarnain. What a great ruler. What a formidable winner. What a huge way - even after owning the materials, he has not forgotten his nature and identity. He always bowed his head in front of his Creator. On the other hand, you have always considered this little worldly splendor and the greenery of the farm as eternal. But even after building the strongest defense wall in the world, he thought that in all cases one could rely on Allah alone, not on this wall. As long as Allah wills, this wall will continue to block the path of the enemies and whenever His will is different, there will be nothing but cracks and holes in this wall.
Thus, after the test questions of the disbelievers have been completely reversed on them, the same words are repeated at the end of the speech, which was said at the beginning of the speech. That is, Tauhid and the Hereafter are completely true. Accepting it, correcting yourself accordingly and holding yourself accountable to God is the only way to live in this world. Otherwise, your own life will be ruined and all your activities will be in vain.

    Summary of sura HUD
    The time of revelation:
If we think about the subject matter of this Surah, we can see that it was revealed at the time of Surah Yunus. Even if it was revealed immediately after that, it is not strange. Because the main point of the speech is the same. However, the type of warning is more severe than that.
In the hadith, Hadrat Abu Bakr said to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him): "I see that you are getting old. What is the reason for this?" In reply, he said, "(Surah Al-Hud) and the surahs with similar content have made me old." From this it may be inferred that the time was difficult for the Quraish when the disbelievers of the Quraish were trying to suppress the call of the Prophet (peace be upon him) with all their weapons and the warnings were coming down one after the other. Perhaps he was constantly disturbed by the fear that the respite given by God would come to an end and that the time would come when God would punish a nation and seize it. In fact, while reciting this Surah, it seems as if a flood dam is about to collapse and the last warning message is being uttered to the careless people who are about to be swallowed up by this flood.
    Content and Topics:
As I said earlier, the content of the speech is similar to that of Surah Yunus. That is invitation, advice and warning. The difference, however, is that the portion of the call is shorter here than in Surah Yunus, the amount of reasoning in the advice is less and the advice is more, and the warnings are more detailed and strong. Here the invitation is given as follows: Obey the words of the Prophet, refrain from shirk, abandon the worship of others, become the servant of Allah alone, and build all the arrangements of your worldly life on the basis of a sense of accountability in the Hereafter. Advised: Nations that reject the call of God's prophets, relying on the external aspects of worldly life, have already faced terrible consequences. In this case, is there any obligation for you to follow the same path that has been proven to be the path of destruction in the continuous experience of history? The warning has been uttered: The delay in the coming of the torment is in fact only a respite.
God is giving you this respite by His grace. If you are not restrained and corrected during this time, then there will come a torment which no one can avert, and which will wipe out the rest of the world except the smallest group of believers.
The events of Noah's people, Aad, Thamud, Lot's people, the people of Madyan, and the people of Pharaoh have been taken more than the direct address to make this point. The things that have been most clearly stated in describing these events are: When Allah is about to settle a matter, He settles it in a completely neutral manner. No one is given the slightest concession there. Then it is not seen who is the child and whose relative. No prophet's son or prophet's wife can live. Not only this, but when the time comes for the final judgment of faith and disbelief, the nature of the religion demands that the believer himself should forget the relationship between father and son and between husband and wife and the only true relationship with complete neutrality like the sword of God's justice. Except cut off all ties and throw away. In such a case, even the slightest bias towards lineage and blood relations would be contrary to the vitality of Islam. Three or four years later, the Muslims of Makkah exhibited this teaching on the plain of Badr.

    Summary of sura nuh
    Naming
The name of the surah in 'Noah'. Its content is also titled 'Noah'. Because it tells the story of Prophet Noah from beginning to end.
    The time of revelation
This is also one of the Surahs revealed in the early stages of the life of the Prophet (peace be upon him) in Makkah. However, the internal evidence of its content indicates that this Surah was revealed at a time when the hostile attitude of the disbelievers of Makkah against the call and preaching of the Prophet (peace be upon him) had intensified.
    Content and keynote address
It tells the story of the Prophet Noah (peace be upon him). However, it is not just for the purpose of narrating the story. Rather, it is intended to warn the disbelievers of Makkah that you are treating Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) the same way that his people treated Prophet Noah (peace be upon him). If you do not refrain from this behavior, then you will have to face the same consequences that those people faced. Nowhere in the whole surah is this stated explicitly. But in the context of the circumstances and circumstances under which this story was told to the Makkans, it became self-evident.
The first verse states that Allah entrusted Prophet Noah (peace be upon him) with the position of Prophethood.
How he started his da'wah and what he said to his people.
It is summarized in verses 2 to 4, then it is narrated in verses 5 to 20 that Prophet Noah (peace be upon him) presented to Allah after suffering indescribably for a long time for the call and preaching of the religion. He presented everything to his Lord at the stage where he tried to lead his nation to the right path and how the people of his nation rebelled against him.
Then in verses 21 to 24 the subject of the last request of Prophet Noah (peace be upon him) is mentioned. In it, he appealed to God Almighty that this nation had ultimately rejected my invitation. They have put their reins in the hands of their leaders and spread huge and extensive conspiracies. Now is the time to take away the good sense and ability to take guidance from them. It was not an expression of any kind of impatience on the part of Prophet Noah (peace be upon him). On the contrary, after carrying out the task of preaching the religion in an environment like the ultimate test of patience for hundreds of years, only when he became completely disillusioned with his people did he come to the conclusion that there was no possibility for this nation to come to the path of truth and justice. His decision was exactly like the decision of Allah. That is stated in the next 25 verses. Because of the deeds of this nation, the torment came down on them from Allah.
The last verse mentions the supplication that Prophet Noah (peace be upon him) made to Allah just before the revelation of the torment. In it he prays for forgiveness for himself and for the believers, and prays to God for the disbelievers of his people that none of them should be left alive to live on earth, because there is no good left among them now. So whoever is born in their womb now will grow up as a disbeliever and a sinner.
While studying this Surah, it is necessary to keep in mind the detailed explanation of the story of Prophet Noah (peace be upon him) which has already been given in the Quran. See Surah Al-A'raf, verses 59 to 64; Yunus, 61 to 63; Hood, 25 to 49; Al-Mu’minun, 23 to 31; Ash Shu'ara, 105 to 122; Al-Ankabut, verses 14 and 15, As-Saffat, verses 65 to 72 and Al-Qamar, verses 9 to 16.

    Summary of sura Ibrahim..
    Naming:
The name of this Surah has been taken from the (Arabic) phrase mentioned in verse 35. This naming does not mean that the biography of Abraham has been narrated in this Surah. Rather, like the names of most of the Surahs, this name has been used here as a sign. That is, it is a surah in which the Prophet Ibrahim (peace be upon him) is mentioned.
    The time of revelation:
The general description of the surah is similar to that of the suras of the last period of Makkah. So it seems to have been revealed in the near future of Surah Ra'ad. In particular, verse 13 (Arabic) and the disbelievers said to their messengers, "You must return to our religious nation, or we will expel you (from our country)." Reached the extreme stage. The people of Makkah, like the infidel nations of the past, rose to overthrow the believing community of their country. For this reason, the same kind of threats were made to the nations which had adopted the same policy in the past as to them. The disbelieving nations of the past were threatened, (Arabic) (I will destroy the wrongdoers, on the other hand the believers are given the same consolation as their predecessors. They were told:
Thus, from the subject matter of the last ruku ', it can be inferred that this surah relates to the last period of Makkah.
    Central content and keynote speech:
The central message of this surah is to advise and warn those who refused to accept the message of the Prophet (peace be upon him) and continued to use all kinds of deceptions and conspiracies to thwart his call. But in this Surah, the concept of warning, rebuke, threat and intimidation is higher than the advice. This is because the task of understanding in the previous surahs has been done perfectly and beautifully. Even after that, the recklessness, violence, hatred, obstruction, evil deeds and oppression of the Quraish infidels were increasing day by day.

    Summary of sura yousuf
    Naming:
As usual, this Surah has been named as a mere sign from verse 96. In the context of this verse, the Prophet Jonah (peace be upon him) is mentioned, but the subject of the Surah is not the story of the Prophet Jonah.
    The place of revelation:
This whole surah was revealed in Makkah Mu'ayzamah. This is proved from the hadith. The content of the sura supports this statement. Some people think that some of its verses were revealed in the Madani period. But it's nothing more than a Hawaiian guess. An in-depth review of the sequential presentation of discourses makes it clear that these are not the sum of multiple speeches or verses revealed at different times. Rather it is a well-organized and coherent speech from beginning to end. It may have been sent down at once, and its subject matter clearly proves that it is a surah of the Meccan period.
    The time of revelation:
We have not found any hadith regarding when this Surah was revealed. But it is clear from the narration that this surah was revealed towards the end of the stay of the Prophet (peace be upon him) in Makkah, because it is clear from the narration that the opponents of the Islamic call have begun to create obstacles. They are no longer willing to tolerate the Prophet and his followers among themselves. They cannot be expected to follow the right path by requesting advice. This type of surah relates to the last age of Makkah, but this sura does not give any indication of migration, so the age of this surah precedes the suras from which we find clear or vague indications of migration. It is important to note that it is not necessary to describe the historical background of this period after identifying the period, because the historical background of this period has been described in the introduction to Surah An'am and Surah A'raf.
    Content:
The subject of this speech is to invite, explain, and warn. The speech started like this:
A man has preached the word of prophethood. People are surprised to see that. They are unnecessarily accusing him of witchcraft. But there is nothing strange in what he has said and there is nothing in it that has anything to do with magic and astronomy. He is telling you two important truths. One is that Allah, the Creator of the universe and the One who has practically managed it, is the only Lord and Master of you and He alone has the right to gain your worship and obedience. Two, another life will come after the present worldly life. There you will be resurrected. There you will give an account of all your present life. You will be punished or rewarded based on a basic question. The question is, are you accepting God as your Lord and doing good deeds as you wish, or are you doing the opposite? The two truths that he has presented to you are the two true and irrefutable real truths. It doesn't matter what you say. This truth calls you to accept it and build your life accordingly. If you respond to his call, your outcome will be better. Otherwise they will see their own evil consequences.
    Topics to discuss:
After this initial discussion, the following issues come to the fore with a special sequence:
One: Those who do not indulge in blind hatred and orthodoxy and think of avoiding seeing themselves and making wrong decisions instead of losing the discussion, their intellects and consciences are convinced of the oneness of God and the Hereafter.
Two: To remove the misconceptions that hindered the people from accepting the doctrine of Tawheed and Risalat, and to warn them of the negligence that arose.
Three: Responding to the doubts and objections raised about the Prophet Muhammad's message and the message he brought.
Four: To inform in advance of what will happen in the next life, so that man may be careful about it and correct his activities, and he will not have to regret it later.
Five: To warn that the present life of this world is in fact a life of testing. The time you have been given for this test is only as long as you are breathing in this world. If you waste this time and do not take the guidance of the Prophet and pass the test, then you will not get a second chance. The arrival of this Prophet and the arrival of true knowledge to you through this Qur'an is the only and best opportunity you have. If you can't use it, you will have to suffer forever in the next life.
Six: Identifying all the obvious ignorance, ignorance, and confusion that was being created in the lives of the people only because of living without the guidance of Allah.
In this context the events of Noah (a) and the events of Moses (a) have been described in detail. The purpose of narrating this history is to make people understand four things.
First of all, what you are doing with Muhammad (pbuh) is exactly the same as what your predecessors were doing with Noah (pbuh) and Moses (pbuh). And be sure that you will face the same consequences as they did. Second, do not assume that Muhammad (peace be upon him) and his companions are in the same state of helplessness and weakness that you see today. Do you not know that God was behind Moses and Aaron, and He is behind them? And he changed the whole situation in a way that no one could have imagined. Thirdly, if you waste the respite that Allah is giving you for self-correction and then repent at the very last moment after being captured by Allah like Pharaoh, then you will not be forgiven. Fourthly, those who believe in Muhammad (peace be upon him). They should not be discouraged by the extreme harshness of the hostile environment and their helplessness in dealing with it. They should know how to work in this situation. They should also be careful that when Allah, by His grace, rescues them from this situation, they should not behave in the same way as the children of Israel did after their liberation from Egypt.
Finally, it has been declared: Allah has instructed His Prophet to proceed according to this creed and on the basis of this path and principle. The least can not be cropped. The one who accepts it will do good to himself and the one who rejects it and goes astray will harm himself.

    *Quran 27,18-19*
Until, when they came upon the valley of the ants, an ant said, *"O ants, enter your dwellings that you not be crushed by Solomon and his soldiers while they perceive not."*
So [Solomon] smiled, *amused at her speech,* and said, "My Lord, enable me to be grateful for Your favor which You have bestowed upon me and upon my parents and to do righteousness of which You approve. And admit me by Your mercy into [the ranks of] Your righteous servants."
    1. Ants do not use words and phrases, but only some noises, chemicals and vibrations. Even if you understand their communication, it wont change the fact that ants dont have a language like ours.
    2. And how could Suleyman hear a single ant speaking, in a valley full of ants, while he was marching with his huge army? Even if he had superears it would not make any sense
    3. Why did the ant knew Suleymans name by the way?
    4. Was this the one ant out of billions which made the most funny comment?
    5. Whats the point of scarying some ants? My grandma can do that...
Dont get me wrong. If God makes some ants speaks by a miracle, ok, sure. God can do that.
But this story is completly different.

Story #3 The Cave. The story is clearly ripped off of the Seven Sleepers of Ephesus, composed by Jacob of Serugh, a Syrian Christian living in the 6th century. Yet Allah seems to indicate that the sleepers were asleep for exactly 309 years. The controversy exists because Jacob of Serugh wrote that they were asleep for 370 years, but he also wrote that they were asleep between the reigns of the Roman emperors Decius and Theodosius, which would have been more like 200 years. Again, there was a discrepancy because the story was fictional and not historical.
