    Well done gents, really appreciate the side-by-side comparison. As someone that grew up in the 80s playing guitar, absolutely love the plethora of reasonable guitar options these days. Cheers!

    I owned a LOT of guitars over the last 25 odd years but I’m gonna say honestly this is one of the best I’ve ever had, I go to it pretty much instantly most days. The neck is beautifully tinted, super thin and comfortable. The sunburst with double binding is outstanding. It didn’t really need modding but I put brass saddles on, an obsidian wireless system inside and locking tuners to get the best out of it and it just sings. Unless you’re someone who needs ‘fender’ on the headstock, you won’t need another tele if you have one of these.

    Thanks for the information … some of the comments also answered a question I had . I’m impressed with your sons positive attitude . My wife and I are fostering a boy similar in age that was abandoned by his parents - drugs tore the family apart . I found your channel accidentally and Eli saw something in it that he’s never seen before . Father and son working together with respect and intelligence- I can’t explain it but he saw something more than a telecaster review .
    I apologize for going off topic . Keep up the good work

    I bought one of these back in January this year because I thought it was the best looking Telecaster of all the different models available. I was unlucky enough however to get one that had a bad 3 way switch right out of the box.

    Great video. I bought my Chinse Squire in 2018 but only played it a few times. I wanted a certain sound and didn't get it initially. I shelved the guitar (hung on the wall) and played it occasionally. Fast forward a few years, I bought a Fender Champion 100. Yesterday I plugged in my Squire and used the modelling channel and the sound was amazing. Just what I wanted.
    Thank for the great video fellas :)

    I have one of the early white classic vibe 50’s tele’s that weighs over 9 lbs. it’s a beast! Even better than 2 of the American standards I’ve had. I put a Duncan antiquity pickup in the bridge but removed it the next day. My original pickup has serious balls! Love this Tele.

    My 2014 CV Chinese Tele is outstanding. I bought it new and it's been rock solid. Its my do to guitar for open G and it plays great in standard E. Unfortunately I dont have another Tele to compare it too. But its my go too guitar after my American FSR Strat.

  • @JeuneLysOfficiel

    That new Switch clearly looks better than the old PCB ones on the MIC, also great to have bone nut on the new ones ! Maybe PU look cheaper, but hopefully sound better overall so that's great

    • @MYdjANDkaraoke
      @MYdjANDkaraoke 2 роки тому +1

      I don't have an old one to compare to but I have alot of tele and lets just say it's probably my best sounding tele for what I am looking for. A bit of twang, I lost a bit when I went from 9 to 10s but needed to because the string tree wasn't keeping the high E from buzzing. It's full and throaty and powerful and a high end ring. It's perfect for one of the tele tones I've been searching for. My other teles include a custom built outfitted with Irongear stacked bridge with tap, custom built with SD broadcasters, a few custom relic teles (previously these were the tones the CV replaced), custom built with guitarfetish slick pickups, Eart tele with Tone Emporium pickups in them (this is my bright and articulate and clear pickups), I have a few earts teles I did not replace the pickups in, and then my American Twisted Tele but this once sounds like a beefed up strat only. I have some P90 strats and humbucker ones as well but the CV gives me 'my" ideal tone for the tele

    I have the Indonesian model. It is such a beautiful guitar. Everyone who sees it comments how good it looks. But I have had a luthier work on it. The frets needed a polish and I upgraded the electronics and replaced the chrome saddles with compensated brass saddles. My next step is to upgrade the pickups with some quality hand-wound pickups. The stock pickups are okay but nothing special. I also have an American Standard Telecaster and that has has awesome pickups.

      @@stancoleshill8925 My one was nearly unplayable out of the box. It felt really strange and was buzzing all over the place. It's great now, though, after some work.
      A faulty switch and a pickup that doesn't work - that should be covered by warranty. So either they fix it or give you a replacement.

    I don't think the holes effect the bridge pickup like you think it does , you said yourself you like the Indo pickups better so.. maybe it is an improvement on the design. The Chinese guitar is by far the better built guitar solid alder bodies rosewood fretboards with Fender construction as in the truss rod hole access is partially into the fretboard like the usa counterparts , no veneers etc...
