What an epic fishing day Kev! It’s always awesome to see the trout stocking happen right in front of you, I knew you would slay the trout! Also that horse hanging around is something you don’t see everyday, at least in the city 😂 tight lines! 🎣🔥
Hey is remember me I was from the UA-camr when this this is my dad who's speaking great video trout Slayer it is me the son of him you have great videos and I'm so happy keep on going bro😊
Remember me I met you at the van I am that one kid Israel Junior and my dad just said great video translator and I'm a huge fan thanks@@KevinRapkochFishing
@IsraelEscobedo-l1f Hey dude! Yeah, I totally remember meeting you and your dad! Thanks for watching and leaving a comment. I hope you two catch tons of fish next time you're back out at the Salt River! 🙂✌️🎣
You proved a few things in this video for example it doesn’t take a couple of days for the trout to settle after stocking before they will bite. How about “match the hatch” but in your case you triggered the trout with your woolly bugger. I have seen that brown horse standing behind me earlier this year when I was fishing in the same spot where the stocking truck was in your video. Then it slowly walked across the river and into the dessert. I hope to see you at the river again. Great video, Greg
Hey Greg, good to hear from you again. Yeah, with those freshly stocked trout, there's not much of a hatch that they recognize yet, so it's helpful to try to activate their bites with some streamer action (small, leech like wooly buggers will do the trick). That was definitely a cool horse, very chill. Hope to see you out there again! Tight lines. 🙂✌️🎣
Nice day, beautiful part of the country and good to be out and fish and enjoy the day Kevin and a few nice one landed too.Thimbs up brother and greetings,, Tony.
Holy Bow Frenzy! 🎉🎣 That's so awesome to see them all schooled and riled up after their entrance to the river haha. Do you find stocked trout more aggressive and willing to eat flies vs wild? Wrap that finger up buddy, you know it's a good day fishing when!? 😂 That wild horse wasn't shy! Awesome video dude! Keep up the great work as always my friend! 🎉😀🤘
Hey brother! I think that stocked trout are easier to fool than wild trout, or at least, don't get spooked as easily as wild trout. As far as being aggressive though... I feel like both stocked and wild have their moments of being aggressive 🤷. This was the 3rd fishing trip in a row that I opened up that line cut on my finger haha ... I guess it's a good thing, since it's related to catching some fish! Catching that fish in front of that horse was pretty sweet... Definitely a memory! Thanks for watching and always supporting the channel, brother! Hope your week is going well. 🙂✌️🎣
Lol, i was at that exact spot on Sunday. The river was a trickle and i got totally skunked. I did see a few folks landing fish. Like you said in the slower water. We saw one of those horses as well. Really enjoyed fishing there. Thanks for the vid, as always, Kevin. You are definitely an inspiration for me to keep throwing the fly line out there.
Hey Tracy, thanks again for watching and leaving a comment! I've been skunked at the Salt plenty of times, so you're in good company haha! Some days are weird like that; most days it's all about if you're lucky enough to be in the spot where they are grouped up. And then there are the days where a truck drops hundreds of trout right in front of you 😂😂😂. I really think your persistence will pay off, and you'll be catching lots of those Salt River trout soon! 🙂✌️🎣
@bradleyflood-i8c hey thanks man! I'm not positive, but I want to say a #12 sounds right. I got a bunch from Sportsman's Warehouse. If you have a penny, I showed the fly next to a penny for size reference 😂🤷🤷. Hope that helps you narrow it down! 🙂✌️🎣
Yo Adam! Yeah man, fun day at that spot... I know you've had some awesome action there as well. Hope you are doing well, brother... Can't wait for the next vid! 🤙✌️🎣
It's the bridge (Pebble Beach), one of the common stocking sites. The Sonoras are throughout the river, but it's best to fish them in slower moving and deeper water. 🙂✌️🎣
Every youtuber fisher has done a video here at that exact same spot. It's getting old. I'd rather make the 6hr drive to Utah for native trout. You can be in the mtns all weekend without seeing another soul.
Wow Kevin, those olive wooly buggers slayed those trout surprised it wasn’t crowded there but awesome video👍🎣🙃
@@Shoreline_Heroes Yo Gabe! Thanks man, yeah, the wooly bugger did work during this session! 🙂✌️🎣
AWSOME to see another local AZ FISHERMAN
Yeah man!! 🌵☀️🤙🤙✌️🎣
I always love seeing the salt river horses! A bonus for sure. ❤😊😊
Agreed! Thanks for watching and dropping a comment! 🙂✌️🎣

That’s insane Kevin loved the video brother.
Hey Brent! Thank you, brother! Hope your holiday season and end of the year happenings are going well! 🙂🙂✌️🎣
@ Wishing you and yours the same. 🎄

Another great video! What size is the wooly bugger you were using!?

@KevinRapkochFishing Yes it does thank you. Keep those great videos coming!!
Epic day of trout fishin!! I still haven’t landed a trout on the fly on the salt yet 🥲
Dude, we gotta change that!! Looking forward to the boat n float Salt trip! 🤙🤙✌️🎣
Dang sick action! Those cuts from the line are no joke😂 got a couple from braided line

great video ! what part of the salt river is that i've been trying to find new parts , also do you know where they have the sucker fish at

Did you see if they stocked any sizable ones?
Not really, biggest maybe 13-14 inches. But a lot of em! 🤙🤙✌️🎣
Caught 4 there recently on dry flies.
Nice, not much beats catching trout on dry flies! 🙂🙂✌️🎣
TROUT TRUCK!!!!!!!!

I'd rather be fishing in Utah for native trout as well! But I have a wife and kids, and can only go out for so long sometimes. 🤙✌️🎣
Fish never seen a bug or a fly in their life
Just playing to their instincts 🤙✌️🎣
Good time to build confidence on a new to you fly!
That wooly has got me out of a few jams, haha! Thanks for watching man. I saw you're going to be tying up some new flies... Very cool! 🤙🤙✌️🎣
@@KevinRapkochFishing FlyKingsUSA Tyers will be tying them, I'm just ordering them bigger than usual for bigger bites for SLB customers!
