I always confuse Mythwind with another game (the one with the flying whales, I can't remember the name right now - it might be Mistwind) but then it turns out that I really like both games. I have never played any campaign game but I really want to try one. And this one looks amazing. The artwork is great as well. With my hundrets of hours in Stardew Valley and Harvest Moon I should be able to get Mythwind pretty fast. Thanks for your first impressions. I hope you keep liking the game.
This is one I held off on getting just because the ongoing campaign where you don't really have a specific goal to accomplish and the game just keeps going didn't really appeal to me. The gameplay does look interesting and of course the game looks amazing from a production standpoint, but we have so many games with more defined games with win-loss conditions, so we just focus on playing those games.
Like you, I love Mythwind ! I like that it's stress-free after a stressful day, and to immerse in a magical idyllic world. I love all characters and it's so great to be able to choose between different "minigames" especially solo. I love it solo or as a couple (in the same chill vein we love Dorfromantik). Mythwind is such a great game, I want to know the rest of the story but I also have the expansions to make it last longer. So hyped for the next kickstarter expansion too !
I love Mythwind so much, it's so beautiful, dreamy and relaxing. I see it as the perfect chill solo or couple game for weeknights but wouldn't really want to do 3 or 4 players. BTW I just got Evenfall the other day, you should really review that one on account of your channel's name if nothing else ;)
I was so interested in the reprint, but I have so many other games that I am currently backing that I could not fit this one into my gaming budget. At least you really liked it! It sounds like something that I would have thoroughly enjoyed. Oh, well. I'll look into it at another time. Great video!
