- The Autism Show 2019 - What You Need To Know. Hi indie people! In today's video, I talk about the autism show and what you need to know about the event. This video is for those who don't know anything about the autism show or need some more details about the show before attending the event. I am not attending the autism show 2019 however I thought it would be good to talk about how I feel about this national event & what to expect if you do decide to attend the autism show.
The Autism Show is a national event about autism in the UK showcasing different autism services, businesses and more. The Autism Show is in partnership with the national autistic society. The autism show is held in three cities across the UK. It's held in London, Birmingham & Manchester annually in June. There are talks given by autism professionals, autism businesses as well as from autistic people. There are opportunities to go and speak to specialists and discuss any issues regarding an autistic person or if you are having trouble with things as well.

Are you going to the autism show this year? I won't be attending the 2019 shows so I hope this helps.

I went last year to the one in London and I'm debating whether to go again, I found it to be 90-95% aimed at services for children with Autism, very important but would have been nice to have more for Adults
Hmm yeah that is something that noticed abit at the Birmingham show last year. It is obviously been a thing for awhile but I have noticed things are very slowly starting to look at adults on the spectrum.
I might go next year! I didn't know this was a thing, and it seems I've just missed the Manchester one!
Also I don't know why you don't have more viewers, dude! Your videos are really awesome!
Aww that would be awesome because I'm planning to go to the Manchester one next year as well as London 😊
Awww that's very kind of you to say. It's probably just because the channel is small at the moment but definitely working on reaching out 😁
I may plan to fly over to England in June 2023/2024. This would be cool if this becomes a worldwide thing.
Really nice intro :)
Aww thank you so much Laura! 😊👍
Sounds like you're not going to the Birmingham one this year? Bummer. Oh well, lots to learn (and probably go "AH! That's why I do that!" ;))
Yeah I'm not going to any of the shows this year sadly. I have plans to go to London & Manchester in 2020 though.
@@IndieAndy Cool, maybe we'll meet up there then ;)
That would be truly awesome 👍
This makes me want to go! Too bad I'm terrified of planes.
Aww really? Didn't know that but I am curious what makes you scared of them?
IndieAndy is this for adults with autism as well or is it just for kids
Hi there! It is for anyone though I personally feel that it could be abit boring for kids if they were there all day you know. Think that's where planning ahead would be a good idea.
Would love an Autism show in Northern Ireland
Ooh yeah that would be really cool! ☺️
I whis I chud come
Maybe one day you will!
When I'm 20
