Omg this is SOOOO helpful! I'm moving and need to use up paper pads for cards. Making cards for my workmates and this just got my entire team covered in a few mins! Thank you!
So great to make a lot of cards using up the stack! I have to make around 200 Christmas cards for a nursing home and this way is going to be easy and fast!
I know this an “old” video, but I would totally use the holographic paper. And I would use the white for sentiments. I might use the silver extras on the inside of the cards.
I really love how you show the complete process of using the pattern papers... I have so many 6 x 6 paper pads .. that just sit.. this will work for so many types of cards... Thank you
Finally a video that isn't a voice over and no fast forwarding (I prefer tutorials that explain as they go through the process lol) I just watched a video that showed how to make 10 card designs in 10 minutes. It took 10 minutes because the entire video was fast forwarded. Anyway I'm considering making my own cards and u have definitely inspired me. TYFS and keep up the good work! ❤❤❤ BTW those are beautiful cards!
Just enjoying your humor on your oops and in finance. It was cute. I am lazy n cheaper. So I don’t do Lots of layers. Lol. Love watching you !!! Cards are nice ❤️❤️
You have hit on a wonderful idea! I have been watching "make ahead" videos the past few days, as I am a procrastinator when it comes to getting a card going. Having them done at least this far, and keeping them handy will help immensely! I do prefer a strip of some kind in between two papers on a card, I personally think it gives a more "finished" look.
Really enjoyed watching your tutorial, thank you, I have many 6x6 cards and some bigger that I just look at them and put them away again now I can use them. Thank you.
Foiled strip. lol I decided to tell you a year later. Great use of not only paper, but foil strips. I’ve been wanting to do 5 x 7 cards. Thx for great ideas!
THANK YOU SO SO SO MUCH FOR THIS....I've had this paper for quite a while and my girlfriend and I just got together and made these........ they look wonderful. Thanks again..
Brilliant cards with so few papers i must try something like these I am new to your channel so I have liked and subscribed thank you for taking the time to make and share this video
I really love how you can add the patterned paper and then make the cards all look different with the sentiments and silver strips/no strips. Very inspiring!
Great video, thanks for the inspiration! Because I have a ribbon obsession, I would use ribbon instead of the scrap pieces of paper to place over the two patterns.
I stumbled on your channel by accident, and am so glad I did! I like making cards occasionally but not often enough to buy all that equipment, so I just recycle old greeting cards and gift wrapping paper, cut them into shapes and glue on to cardstock. I reckon I can do that following your tutorials, as you make it so easy🙂
lovely Jenny thanks for the share personally I find glue sticks ideal for adhering large pieces of paper like this without much warping. I womder sometime if am I the only crafter loves to glue sticks? ps a stripe looks better.
Such pretty cards, so simple but elegant too. You are an excellent teacher Jenny, your instruction style is so clear and easy to follow. (take it from a retired teacher...you do a great job!) I am so happy that I discovered your channel; it has motivated me to get back to my own card making. The other thing I really enjoy in your videos is that you do not do a lot of useless chatter (like some other presenters do)....you get right down to business. I like that.
I love this idea when I do these type of cards I trim a little off so there is a gap between the pieces so the layer shows thru between them too or do a strip for over the top of the join. I also use a brayer over them once I’ve stuck the piece dwn to evely smooth them out xxxx
Welp, now I have to go get metalic paper LOL! Love your cards!
Omg this is SOOOO helpful! I'm moving and need to use up paper pads for cards. Making cards for my workmates and this just got my entire team covered in a few mins! Thank you!
The foil strips really make the cards. Love these for quick and easy cards.
I like the strip, it gives a better finish.
I like the way you use the scraps to raise up the message instead of using expensive foam mounts.
I think adding the silver to separate the patterned paper added a whole lot. Nice cards!
I like the strip. It makes the card look finished.
These are creative and simple. I agree they do look more finished with the narrower straps. Good job
Foiled strips look nice!
Foiled strip really makes a difference!
I’d probably go with foil on wintery images & a colored satin or grosgrain ribbon on Christmas images.
I love what you did with the cards and the silver strips set the cards up lovely. X
I will definitely save this video for future inspiration ❤
So great to make a lot of cards using up the stack! I have to make around 200 Christmas cards for a nursing home and this way is going to be easy and fast!
I love how you explain your process.
I like the narrow foil strips and the wider foil with the sentiment layered on top. Great ideas.
I love the strip to break up the busyness
I know this an “old” video, but I would totally use the holographic paper. And I would use the white for sentiments. I might use the silver extras on the inside of the cards.

Foiled strip looks great!
I think adding a strip with a sentiment makes it really pop

I like seeing a narrow strip between the patterns, myself. Or, the sentiment strip is fine, too. I just think they need to be divided.💁♀️

I agree with foiled strips look is awesome. Levels the cards up. Excellent idea on using up extra cardstock behind the sentiments.
I like the foil strips to break up the pattern paper! Great way to make beautiful cards!

Amazing video and idea to save on paper scraps - i would love to see designs for the insides as i always struggle with these
Absolutely beautiful cards! Thank you so much for sharing these ideas! ❤️
I like the strip separating the patterns
I really love how you can add the patterned paper and then make the cards all look different with the sentiments and silver strips/no strips. Very inspiring!
I've used paper separations on cards...flowers, ribbons...buttons...anything to draw the eye to that separation. These are pretty!
I like them with and without the metallic strip. Like all the patterns and ways to change them up.
Great video, thanks for the inspiration! Because I have a ribbon obsession, I would use ribbon instead of the scrap pieces of paper to place over the two patterns.
I like the idea of the foil strips

Love the accountant joke! 😅😅
Such beautiful cards yet so simple. Thank you Jenny.
Love the cards
Love the narrow foil strips added!
I like the strip between the two patterned papers.
Foil strip looks great
What a wonderful tutorial and such gorgeous cards!
Yes, 12 cards. 8 pieces of paper, each cut into 3. 3 x 8 = 24. Then,24 ÷ 2 = 12. The designs and colours are very effective.
Foil strip would be very pretty, your like me, fussy when it comes to your cardmaking. Very well done. Tfs
Definitely like the strip between. Like some sort of separation. Great cards, love these videos! 💜
This made me a subscriber to your channel Jenny. Thank you for such beautiful card ideas.
the foil strip looks nice
Skinny foil strips look good!
