I've noted this person has left negative comments re: his voice on other you tube videos of The Navigators, must by jealous... probably someone who comes from the same area in Newfoundland, jealous that he (Fred) puts the place on the map.
I hope that if one is willing to critic publicly, that one must consider many circumstances before judging. The most important one to hold is he fact that this video is film (more than likely) from a camera of a fan and then posted on UA-cam. I suggest that you check Fred out in person before you start criticing...
and that john cardinal guy singing a terrible cover of a sub par country song is excellent? i question your ear if you can't appreciate the timber of freds voice. at least freddie manages to not strum the E and A strings when he plays a D chord for frigs sake. Thanks though.
