I'm happy you were able to take away some stuff from this. Yeah, stuff like positioning we never give much thought to until we get realllly competitive lol. It makes a huge difference in gameplay once you start doing it though.
Silver knight is so cool. It's what I aspire to make some day. It's not "meta' but it's not bad either. It's the perfect AC for its pilot and that's you.
We'll never probably get a cross play update which kills me. Monolith V.7 VS. Silver Knight would be a epic matchup. Excellent job sticking to your build and polishing your skill with it, I've done the same. Non meta FTW.
informational videos like these are always good, especially when we got players abusing a bugged part. Good job explaining your mindset and how you handle matches
I enjoyed this a lot more than your typical video, I love the analysis to show your thoughts and strategies. Those were really solid strategies and thinking.
Oh yooo the lamm kite info actually is very nice! I actually won against one right after i watched this and applied said strategy! Even when fighting in the space port it does help! These kinds of video is very nice hehe
Post fight commentary means even MORE access to the tactics and thought process of the Thryfe! Really enjoy understanding your how you go about your fights in full detail
The fact that you focus on live reactions and can supplement post commentary is a win in my book. I'd say a good 80% live/20% post is a good balance to shoot for. Either way, your always killing it, dude
I love this format! With my favorite version of Silver Knight with the dagger and the assault armor, too. So stylish and agressive! I do understand why the build changed since, I would have probably done the same if I had to climb this S Rank ah ah The selection of matchup is a real plus in this kind of format. Good work as always.
This build is definitely growing on me😂 I feel you on the recoil as well. I tried Firmeza arms, but then I had to switch Hu-Ben to Attache. Better at mid range pressure, but less effective on a punish.
@Thryfe I'd love to see what you'd come up with👍🏾 It feels like a rapid fire rifle more than a machine gun & it's Surprisingly good at Ground to Air engagement I've found.
my main ac runs curtis and coquillett and yeah ammo discipline really makes the build if it is played right the damage and stagger potential is mad (the coquillett is an amazing side arm to make some of the lesser guns get their potential unlocked for sure) super good video as usual i have taken notes lmao
Coq/Gat combo is soooo FUN, you're defs right about it requiring discipline but once grasped its just a super fun and nasty combo! Thanks for sharing the strats, taking notes 📝🤓
Haha same reason i use all melander. I just like the look. And your build acts a lot like mine when i was able to play. I used dual coquiletts and the back gatling though. Overall Same strategy. Dont just spam shots. Back gat mainly for a little rang and and keep up stagger between reloads. Though i swap the orbt back and forth a lot. I just love orbits and couldnt settle haha awesome vid man. Kind of like hearing you give a deep dive into your mind set in battles
Dude this is super helpful, I tried a super similar build after the first top-100 but with a Sampu for supply efficiency and an MLT-10 to make the kites get close, it's legit crazy what a gatling gun can do to people
Great video from Thryfe the wise, and I'm glad you're ranking up with such an unusual build! What do you think about Etsujin? Playing mostly during JP time, most battle are Etsujin-backpedalers trying to AP lead. I'm so fed up with this weapon which is sooo consistent in damage, reload speed, ACS strain... and so light :( I really feel like it's even more meta than Zims, even after its last nerf, and most people won't bother being creative because of it. Anyways, keep making these great vids and downing Lam kites 🤟
Thanks! I don't think etsujin is tooooo bad, but it probably needs another very slight nerf to bring it in line imo. I personally feel like LRB 100% needs a nerf more than any other stuff. That weapon does everything, and it does it all way too well.
Benn rocking almost part for part the same, just different head and arms and with a haldeman shotgun. Tried the pistol and while I think its better in the heavier matchups, I found the halde to be very VERY good into the lightweight/ kiting matchups.
After I got to A and then started over from jump just to be stuck at B. I gave up PvP and started just creating cosplay business for fun. Peace bro thanks for all your tips and insight.
Unlike the dagger, the charged attack on the pulse blade is useful as a neutral attack. My favorite weapon, the dagger, although stronger as a combo-mixer for higher total punish damage, doesn't do as much punish damage on it's own without other stagger extending attacks (like punches or shotgun blasts) and isn't as useful in normal close-range situations outside of stagger, although the charged attack is decent. Thryfe knows what they are doing. I prefer the dagger but recommend the pulse blade for general use.
hey looking to get back into ac6 pvp. Is it possible to dodge everything the opponent throws at you given you havent exausted your boost meter? And how impactful has the patches since release been? I remember just being rolled my quadruped missile spam and dual mini gun tanks back then, which was the reason I stopped playing pvp.
Yeah it's possible, as long as you learn the right ways for each weapon. The patches have changed a lot since release. Double gatling is very scarce, it's treated as a troll meme build. There is only one dedicated missile kite build now and you don't see it around too much. There are new meta builds of course, but all the old stuff is gone. The current metagame is the most diverse one we've had technically.
MAJOR respect for sticking with your classic build in the middle of the Meta, loved the commentary, and looking forward to hearing more!!
Thank you sir!
Surprise! One of the best live commentators is an even better commentator when he can use both halves of his brain for it at the same time
😁 you're too kind.
They need to have you host a tournament. You're charismatic enough while still knowledgeable enough

I've thought about making vids like this. Explaining things calmly and what both players are doing right and wrong
It's a nice change of pace.
Loving your AC videos man, your PVP skills are spicy.
