When this version of the song was originally released in1996 the 'oldies' didn't like what the Fugees did then to the 1972 Roberta Flack classic... Looks like the battle still lives on. You and Ms Murphy are amazing!!!!!!!

i didnt like the begining of the song, as she went on- LOVED IT... she got intooo it and nailed it
She is good vocally but I can see where her weakness is, she doesn't engage with the audience, she just stands there and sings.
She is also a musician and.perhaps she would be better if they let her sing and and play. Even so her vocals were the best. When you are listening to music , I want a great vocal not some visually engaging. That's why so many winners do not do well.

I agree. She's pretty much on pitch (pretty much) but I don't like the tone of her voice at all.
It was good and all.. But didnt even come close to the Fugees and Lauryn Hill's vocal capabilities in the original song. Of course just my own personal opinion.
