    Thank you for sharing your technique and work. It was a joy to watch. The background music suited the bird perfectly 😊

    Did u use pattern shears? Your pieces fit perfect together even after foiling how did you do that. Even when my pieces fit perfect together when I foil I get gaps

      Hi! No, no patter shears. I just use my template pieces and a grinder to get the glass just right. It's a lot of back and forth between the pattern and grinder. Thanks for watching!

    What type of paper are you using for your pattern pieces, have you used mylar?

      Hi. I just use standard copy paper that's been laminated. I find that it makes a more durable template for tracing and is water resistant when I check pieces after grinding them into final shape. Thanks for watching!

    Beautiful but I was sad that the cutting machine for the part of the eye wasn’t explained
    I had not seen it before
    Assuming it’s a type of saw

      Hi. Yes it's called a "ring saw". It's very good at cutting curves, especially inside curves that would likely break using a standard "runner". Thanks for watching!

    What kind of tape did you use for the ring saw?

    • @glass.craft.templates
      @glass.craft.templates  Рік тому +1

      Hi! Nothing fancy, just clear box tape. The key is to wrap it over an edge of the glass so water from the saw doesn't get under the tape. Works most of the time. 😅 Thanks for watching!
