Guard Dog Body Armor SHEPPARD-FDE: The Sheppard tactical vest is designed to be a light and high-quality plate carrier for all standard ballistic armor plates. It is crafted from a water-resistant Oxford fabric and includes removable pistol magazine pouches, AR-15 magazine pouches, storage bags, and shell holders along the shoulder straps. Standard ballistic plates will fit securely and will not bounce around in the front and rear pouches. The back yolk shoulder pads are excellent for weight distribution and there is an extendable grab drag handle for emergency exfiltration.

The reason there are 2 "plate" pockets is because the one closer to your body is for soft armor or trauma pads (that is why the velcro is less robust there compared to the outer pocket). The outer pocket is actually the one you use for rifle/hard armor. You have it set up backwards.

The Dane can hold 10”x12” or 11”x14” plates and the Sheppard is just for 10”x12”. The Sheppard can hold more magazines and has additional storage compartments. Thank you!
