I have a swissy who is a show dog, I’ve been wanting to get her into another sport to add to her title (and I love training) and this looks perfect!

@The Kennel Club, I work in the IT field and I would love to specialize in Obedience dog training. My question is is it a good side career . Cause I wanna do Graphic design as my major career and obedience dog training as my side hustle. 🇨🇦🤔

Okay. I guess I misunderstood the purpose of this video. I was trying to UNDERSTAND the fundamentals about OBEDIECE training for dogs (teaching them not to jump on houseguests or misbehave in some potentially dangerous way which can result in injury or property damage). I know someone who sent their dog for (obedience training) yet the way they raise the dog, completely undermines the techniques that they showed us for what they are supposed to do. Why, because they think its cute when the dog misbehaves, jumps on people and create problems for those who try to work at and visit their home. This is about shows which I realize how vitally important dog shows are, but for people who have pets, do they really want them to be a burden to their neighbors, friends, family members and those who are trying to WORK and not PLAY at their house? Is it worth it for them to allow one of the visitors to their home to be INJURED or in the least case scenario to become stressed and outraged cuz the dog has chronic BEHAVIORAL issues?! I'm just trying to understand this mentality.
