Oui wee imma get z1 turbos in November for the q. I had replaced the PCV Valve it stopped the blue/white smoking from exhaust and oil catch can installed on too
congrats.😎. im torn between z1s or ams turbos. waiting to compare which has more usable powerband for street driving. something tells be ams might be a lil laggy but pull up top more.
still sounds like a trumpet, automatic doesnt help either, my stick doesnt sound like that, i have 2.5 pipes all the way through with stock cats, sounds good with boosted 6 shorties
2 issues with this car. The paddle shifting only sucks IMO .. Should have the ability to shift from the shifter as well. What happens when you are in a turn and steering wheel is turned and you need to upshift or down shift and you can only shift from the paddles, how are you going to LOOK at the paddles and see which is up or down when you are in a turn and wheels are spinning ??? Next that shifter is HIDEOUS AS F' ... Not sure WHAT nissan was thinking but that is Fugly and someone needs to come up with an upgrade to put in a standard vertical shifter. otherwise the car is looking GOOD
That’s exactly one of my gripes. The idea behind it is that for driving in the circuit steering mounted shifters are better because you never turn the steering more than 180 degrees and you keep your hands on 9 and 3. For street driving it’s better in the column because you turn more than 180 degrees more often. That way you can power out of a turn with more confidence. If I was to pick I’d rather have column mounted paddles.
