- Sacha was handed a full size violin on the fly back in 2022. The violin was almost as big has him, ha, ha!
Then, Sacha had the amazing opportunity to play Mendelssohn's Violin Concerto with our Toronto Symphony Orchestra's Concertmaster Jonathan Crow!
A few months later, Sacha Jorba-Wu won the Grand Category (top prize for all instruments) at the Canadian National Music Competition in Québec with a final mark of 97% in 2022. Then, he blew everyone away in 2023 when we won the Grand Category again with a final mark of 99% at the CMC in Toronto.
