This album grows on me with every listen. This is by far the most rewarding musical experience I have ever had. I can't count the number of times I have been struggling in my young adult life and turned to this album to set things to rest in my mind. There is something so soothing about the songs on this record and the deep lyrical content. To me, the whole record preaches mindfulness and growth. You guys are doing something that I think a lot of bands set out to do but fall short due to the lack of passion and ability.
Please continue making music when Peter's ears are up to it. You are truly one of a kind and this world is a better place with you guys making music. I would kick myself if I never got a chance to see you perform in person.

When some unfamiliar faces came to shop in our old house
I didn't bother trying to stop them until they emptied it out
I was standing by the front door, stuffing cash in a jar
Taking payment for our failures, I only wanted to alarm you
So when they asked me for directions, I sold them our map
I sold our shovels and our flashlights
They took our duffel bag with a ton of room, but a broken strap
The hungry patrons hit the graveyard, I lit a joint in the house
Where there was nothing but our mattress and the same soft shelter of sheets, where nobody found us
I let them strip your mausoleum so nothing was left
But they forgot to close the casket
They sent you shivering to my doorstep
Gently clawing at my window when I was less than awake
I slid it up for you to slither through
I heard you howling, "Just take me!
Just take me to the rusty city we perfected
That holy summer we first found!”
The place you’re stubbornly protecting is the only pretty thing that we own now
And we can stay here to wither in your garden of Eden
But your fantasy’s a prison and you’re serving a sentence you can't stop repeating
Can you see the secret exit? The false wall in obsession?
You’ll only fit through the doorway when you relinquish your possessions
So leave everything you've stolen that you can't give back
And don't replace what you've been missing until you know what you're lacking
Leave everything you've borrowed and kept for yourself
You can’t unbreak our broken leases holding on to broken pieces, so return them!
    No guilt, no sorry speeches

"I once listened to the album entirely, on one go. I don’t do this ever, as I usually pick out several songs from each album to set the mood for which I will be thinking in in any given day. It was such a marvelous adventure.
As songs kept playing one after the other, I was able to wander into all the daily worries of mine, and categorized them all into an empty spot in my mind, like a librarian stuffing books onto shelves. By the time the last song came to an end, I felt like I left a piece of myself there, to stay inside, so that I could pick up where I’ve left off and continue this journey.
Some memories do really fade away, but my relation to this album does not seem like it is ending anytime soon, it is only accumulating. I get only closer to what it stands for, and as I familiarize with it, I crawl into "the belly of the beast", to have a good night’s sleep, instead of outgrowing it."
I want this song to be the last piece of melody I listen to before I go to sleep.
p.s. I take great pride in the fact that my name is synonymous with Jonah. :)

Sometimes i wonder why people 7:41 call this depressing music. I dont blame them, everybody is free to listen to every kind of genres, but i'm blessed that i can make my whole body and soul become one at the same time, people should also check the slow show from manchester. Just like the anthlers they bring magic to your soul.
