Forgive me but I must draw your attention about a few mistakes regarding the origins of these two names and their relations to each other in the things you wrote. The names - ישוע (Yeshua) and - יהושע (Yehoshua) are both a Hebrew names from the biblical era and are different names, not identical though they do share a close meaning. Both can be found written in the Hebrew Bible i.e. the first and the large section of the Bible that consists of 35 books and to which Christians refer to as The "Old Testament" and Jews refer to it as the complete codex of the canonical text which is now considered the holy scriptures in Judaism and use the acronyms "Tanakh" as a general title for this body of scriptures. But indeed both names are derived from the root י־שׁ־ע in Hebrew which grammatically, similar to other Semitic languages such as Arabic, most if not all words (maybe apart from few exceptions) as far as I know (I am a native Hebrew speaker) derived from a three-letter root.
