A great player how the Welsh never qualified for a WC I don't know they had two of the most deadliest strikers in world football in Ian Rush & Mark Hughes up front plus Giggs when he came on the scene but I think it was they didn't have a solid midfield they came close in play offs but never managed it .
Lee Morgan they had the best goalkeeper in Neville Southall a very quick and intelligent centre back in Ratcliffe, a powerhouse left back in Pat van den hauwe a great midfielder in Micky Thomas and Dean Saunders to fill in for Rush & Hughes, If Giggs & Bale would have been in that generation they would have been handy.
