He starts the song off telling us what’s he’s doing. Then he does it and no one notices. This is why he’s a villain.
The first line:
“The rest is empty with no brain but the clever nerd”
He’s tells us the rest of the song is just him flowing randomly not thinking (no brain) basically freestyling.
So he’s saying nonsensical stuff like he always does bc he’s a Villian but he’s clever so while it’s empty and devoid of meaning it’s still clever.
That makes him the “the best mc with no chain you never heard”
It’s just a stream of consciousness (empty with no brain) but he did think to let us know first and what’s even more clever is it’s like magic. He tells you what’s he doing and we still miss it.
He’s a villain a criminal he just stole your time with his nonsense in a way 😂 he rhymes about crack a lack cak a lack and fatty pack Mary Mack and everyone’s like oh he’s a genius.
He is but not for the reasons you think. He’s a villain. He’s figaro. A clever liar that wears a mask and a costume. He’s a schemer and always finds a way out of his schemes if they fail.
So if he drifts off too far with nonsense you’ll catch him. That’s what he wants to do bc he hates raps and wants to destroy it.
He can’t hide his disgust so he blurts out silly rhymes but he can’t go all out or you’ll catch him. It’s a game to him.
That’s what’s he’s doing here just fkn around but he can get away with doing that bc he’s a master of his craft. So you end up not noticing what he’s doing.

DOOM is very lyrically dense, but theyre some songs that are less dense than others.
I recommend Deep Fried Friendz, Money Folder, Rap Snitch Knishes, and Let Me Watch
Shout out for Let Me Watch rep, it's such a brilliant storytelling. Was the first track I played when I introduced my girlfriend to DOOM

I've been listening to this dude for like 20 years and I still hear lines in his shit that I feel like I'm hearing for the first time. His rhymes are so clever and dense, I think it's got to be hard for anybody to catch it all on the first couple of playthroughs.
I was in middle school first hearing this album I’m 94 born it’s in my top 5 albums.

ain't really a bad song to hit. but the two sleeper albums that I love is Vaudeville Villain (Alias Viktor Vaughn) or Born Like This (Under the MF DOOM name). There aren't many tracks off either that miss. One that is suuuper unrepresented on youtube though check out "MF DOOM (Viktor Vaughn) - Let Me Watch Ft. Apani B"
