i'm so confused ahaha i annotated this with my teacher and she said it was an irregular rhyme scheme, not fixed, is it a matter of opinion or will i loose marks for the wrong answer?

You can check internet but a quick google search of the poem suggests a regular rhyme scheme. However, your teacher is probably doing something crafty like counting syllables, else he/she is considering half rhymes. English, as you know, can be very subjective. In the case of this poem, perhaps a line explaining WHY you see the rhyme scheme as irregular will validate your ideas in the exam. Hope this helps. Mr Taylor

It is a standard rhyme scheme and it is what it is, it's not a matter of opinion. Your interpretation of why it's used could vary, however.
