- I try to explain a bit more why I enjoy this gun in this video, and try to share what makes this a great overall weapon. The key points talked about are accuracy, recoil, parts combability with the Virtus and the pros to this gun. This should definitely be on your list of guns to purchase if you can afford it.
Watch the first part of this video if you enjoyed this one thank you for watching and like it, dislike it all that helps me out, comment what else I can do to improve these videos.
Best explanation I ve heard yet of the recoil impulse
Thank you. I tried to explain it as best as I could, but I hope that helped you out in your decision.
Eh. Theirs is no help for those that suffer from “ restless AR syndrome” but appreciate the company on the trip.
Awesome
Great vid. I always thought the stock trigger was fine until I put it on the bench for groups. Then I realized how heavy it was compared to my other AR triggers. I’m sure you could get used to it but I may end up putting a Geissele single stage trigger in mine. I’m also going to change out the safety as I like the 60 degree safeties.
Yes, the stock trigger is good. I wouldn't have any issues throwing it into a spare AR15, but I'm just so used to a single stage that the 2 stage triggers trip me up a bit. For more precise shots, the 2 stages obviously is the king, but for me, I like to shoot Ricky bobby fast and accurately. Don't get the BAD safety one. I'll be switching mine out. Im having some issues with mine coming loose. Guess good ole Radian is what I'll be putting in mine.
@@ArmedCitizensEvolution I’m running about six of the Battle Arms Development Bad A$$ Pro safeties. When I first used them I had issues with them coming loose and falling off. However a bit of blue threadlocker and some torque and I’ve never had an issue with them since.
@mavrikmavrik3032 I wish my would stay in place I've done the blue loctie, torqued it down tight nothing. I just accepted defeat and I'm going to radian. They have the safety mastered but the BAD safeties are just better as far as feel, they protrude more and have a bit more aggressive texture to them. Let us know how you like that giessele single stage. I heard they aren't as good as their 2 stage triggers. I have no experience with the single stage giessele, but I've had 5 lantac ect 1, so I've stuck to what I've know works for me.
How reasonable is it have an 11.5 and a shorter 300blk barrel for one Spear Lt to switch between. Is the zero reasonable between switching barrels?
I personally wouldn't do it if it's for range training. We live in a time where you can get 300 blackout for .56 cents a round. To answer your direct question, no, the zero shift is too great for usable training . Now, if you have 25-yard or 36-yard zero, then you could zero quickly, and it would be usable. However, for 100-yard zero, I'd pick one and either get a complete upper or just buy another one if funds allow.
@@ArmedCitizensEvolutionwhere are you getting .56 a round?
@LBExoticsFan from PSA, they actually got 150 grain for .55 as of this morning.
Where’s the gun?
I did a tabletop review on the first video of the spear lt. The last 4 mins of the video may be what you're looking for.
Thank you 🙏 nice setup
