For everyone complaining about Serj, he had back surgery before these shows and he was diagnosed with Covid after this show.
Not to mention concerts are for the experience not to nitpick imperfections..

@@Alex-uy7fn in what MILLENNIUM?! I saw them in 2012 and he was great, I could tell by this presence he was having fun. He’s had off shows yeah but Everyone does.
I feel Daron's guitar on that concert is really tight! He used to be much more sloppy in the past, now it is so good.

I was on the floor for the concert and there was tons of moshing and crowd crush, unlike any other crowd I’ve ever been in. People were so hype over them. I’ve seen better concerts but this one was the best I’ve been to just because of the crowd.
@@Nethter I mean this concert was so many people's dream come true. I saw them back in 2011 and never thought I got to see them again. So glad I saw them in Oakland right before he got diagnosed with covid

Some songs are more fit for the stereo than in live concerts. But other than that, they just don't want to.

I dont usually feel the need to defend anything on the internet, but im confused on how anyone can say they sound bad here. You apparently havent seen other shows over the years that are all over youtube if you think this is bad.
Serj hitting all the notes (had back surgery earlier this year, dont know what you guys expect him to do on stage) and nailing his little improv tangents. Daron nailing his improv fills to keep himself entertained and happy (plenty of videos where his distortion sounds flat and light and he's half assing his playing to act crazier on stage instead)
You want them to jump around like they're 25 again or have them sound good? If you peep other live videos you will greatly appreciate how good they sound here.
@Black Toof lol been a fan since self titled dropped. I'm aware of their royalties beef. If he didn't want to tour with them anymore he wouldn't, same reason why they don't record. You know how much money they make from these gigs?
@Black Toof If he didn’t want anything to do with the band, he wouldn’t have recorded the two songs or do these shows. He has no obligation to. Sure things aren’t the best between em, but he could just step out if he really didn’t want to be a part of it. I don’t think he wants to ruin the band, until it comes out of his mouth.
his midbelts are still great, i just don't understand why they still play their songs on a higher key that doesn't help any of them
I think that is easier on the vocals and because two albums are at a higher tunning, you don't have to either retune the instruments or swap out equipment for every song that's played to match the original key. Some songs from the Mez/Hyp albums sound great played on a drop C tunning. And some songs from the SOAD/Tox/STA albums sound great on drop C sharp tunning.

FYI. They have made new music! They are very involved with their community. And that up there in age. They should have already retired. Yet they still tour for their fans AND their country.

Seems like he sings his songs at higher octaves now and I don’t know why, it doesn’t sound as good it sounds nasally. And he tries to strip the more aggressive vocals he does on the records, as much as he can get away with.

Doesn’t bother me at all the Serj’s voice doesn’t have the same power and range it used to. That style of singing is near impossible to keep up for 20+ years. I’m just thankful that he’s come back to entertain. No one could replace him.

If you cared and actually wanted to be there you’d have the adrenaline to move through the pain. Yes he’s older I don’t expect him to do things he has done 20 years ago.. but you can tell he just doesn’t care like he use to.. he has interviews stating that they’re too far apart be a thing again and he’s doing it for the $$
Swear SOAD gives me that strength & confidence to fight any battle life & this fucked world throws at me. I could easily die fighting in the bloodiest war as long as SOAD is playing behind me. Lol

@@jorgestun9521 Sim sim, tem muito cara que só quer que o Serj e o Daron se matem de gritar e pular o tempo todo na live, eu já fico feliz por tudo que eles já fizeram até aqui, a live em Sydney foi muito foda, nunca vou me esquecer, mas hoje a idade tá mais acima, porém, estou feliz deles ainda estarem fazendo turnê.
