Over a few weeks in the Sacramento area, we were literally wined and dined by our friends in Napa Valley and San Francisco Bay. Then we took an epic day trip to Lake Tahoe, Carson City, Virginia City, and Reno in Nevada before exploring the gruesome story of Donner Pass on the way home.
