No! I think splatoon switch is the best edition. They actually dropped the ball on the zelda switch design wide to me. The zelda switch still looks good though especially in person but I just feel as if they could've done better on the design.

@@redcrimson1028I think Zelda joy cons, especially the 1 with green is not very nice BUT I think the Zelda dock is BEAUTIFUL! I was going to buy it but then I decided to buy splatoon Oled because I liked the joy cons more but now I’m thinking I’ll just stick with my 2019 switch and just wait for Nintendo’s next idea.

I am so excited to play the new game. This special edition reminds me of my old gold 3DS XL limited edition, it has lots of the designs of this one. Beautiful.
The concentric circles pattern reminds me of some of the designs you see on sand in Zen gardens. Given the Buddhist inspirations you can see in other Zelda games (especially the Ancient Cistern in Skyward Sword), I suspect that this connection might be intentional.

I treated myself to the amiibo cuz I'll need all the help I can get whenever I get the chance to play this. Looks nice. I wanna upgrade to an oled but I still love my animal crossing v2. Very nice video. Happy for you. ❤

Def seeing the Junji Ito spiral motifs.. I don't plan on getting anymore OLED Switches, I have one in the original coloring but I realized while I enjoy the bigger screen, I really don't dock my handheld to the TV... ever. I've done it once out of the 5 1/2 years I've had it. I hope I find a really nice colored Nintendo Switch Lite model I enjoy so I can get a backup.

I do like the Pokémon OLED switch, but this Zelda switch is just calm and aesthetically pleasing to look at and not grab the loud attention what the Pokémon brings to the table
Besides that, great unboxing!! And can’t wait to play TOTK (and maybe even sell the Pokémon switch to grab this beautiful Zelda one)
I still can't believe it doesn't have a physical version of the game... Much like their previous special releases. That's a deal breaker for me.
It's not even out yet it comes out in three weeks. I'm glad it doesn't it would've been even more expensive.
If it did, in classic Nintendo fashion, the special edition would just be $430 instead of $360 😅
You're basically just deciding between spending $70 now or later. Technically, spending it later saves you a little bit because of the time value of money. Technically.
Can see why it's a dealbreaker but they likely did that because they knew collectors would get the Collector's Deluxe Edition of TotK instead anyway. Even then people will still complain about getting physical instead of digital codes or vice versa, so you can't please everyone in this case. Plus they likely knew TotK is still gonna sell well regardless.

Got mine today, it's really beautiful, got it to go with with my gold and white decor. However, the joy cons made metallic springy noises, so annoying since I have OCD
I kinda wanna buy this edition just because of the design because I can’t find a cute case or skin and the white NSO (nintendo switch oled) feels a bit boring. It’s not about getting the game that comes with it because I’m more of a super Mario fan and hate action movies/shows/ games 🫠
