Love these silent productions
Love Emmmmm....
That concrete form was doing the Macarena!
This wall is massive!
Looking forward to seeing the launch of Starship 😁
Thanks for the update NSF, it's starting to get exciting!
This is BEAUTIFUL FOOTAGE NSF!!!
just watching is good very busy site
Well of those geese in the video sound like they are having a good time.
"But what does it all mean Basil?" Thanks for all the clips!
2:25 dont worry we are still flying half a ship
Warm welcome to 2023 what an year for you Minah Simone. Congratulations 🧠
Nicely put together and great shots as always! You all are spoiling us!
NASASpaceflight is a misnomer. This channel is SpaceXSpaceflight. Gah!
I guess SpaceX has had enough of us snoopers.
Good morning
Wow
Thanks NSF team, the animal noises are cool too.
Grackles be grackling 😊
Thanks Sean and Thomas.
I like the way they just duct tape the tiles on, it does have 1001 uses.
tape till the glue dries
3:16 Does it move? Yes. Should it move? No. => Apply duct tape.
1:55 Does it move? No. Should it move? Yes. ==> Apply WD-40
The 2 most useful items ever created!!!!!
Waiting⏳
At least here in Texas, somebody is actually building a wall.
Ironically, to keep Americans out...
I love Texas, always a cowboy riding a 🐎. Giddy up SpaceX
01:09 - "The Great wall" of Starbase
I wonder if tiles will always be needed attached or they'll make a tile flap open and close for the hooks.
they're making a new lifting tool which uses the pins under the forward flaps instead of the lifting squid to remove that issue.
@@foggiertiger535 It's already done and being actively used, Ship 29 (I believe) and forward all use that tool, the old style hooks are only used inside the tent. I think they will not be necessary in the Starfactory.
What is the wall for.
"Queuing for petrol...queuing for petrol! I don't need petrol...cause I'm on a horse!"
2:37 Could they add an extendable platform to the chopsticks to bridge the gap between them on the leeward side to reach the Ships FTS?
God speed starship .
HORSE!
Mount camera to it? 😉
Yee Haw
Thx for the details, as always! 😊. About the perimeter wall around the launch site, my thots are that this is mandated by FWS in some report (?🤔). That's y SpaceX is doing it up in such speed, apparently before IFT 2 🤷🏻♂️😃
Will the rocket site still be visible from the road when the wall is completed?
The orbital site will be, yes, just not most of the suborbital site.
Most of the suborbital is out of sight already correct? @@mrandersen6872
Will the orbital launch site wall construction be required before SH25 & B9 launch?
The empty wall forms would fly away during launch, so the concrete needs to set first.
1:23 that's one giant diaper.
Flight termination system to be installed yet
So, when does it start tho ?`did i miss it ?
Why did they not build those high bays out of either white or silver siding to reflect the sun rays? That dark siding is going to absorb all the heat as the sun hits it and transmit inside. I would imagine that working inside those bays is hot enough as it is.
Here is a petty but accurate complaint. It was the LEFT chopstick that had a slight movement. If you are looking at someone's arms facing you the left and right is relative to the owner's perspective not yours.
👍
They need to make a heat shield that is. Less labor intensive
How would you propose they do that? And in many aspects they already have. The space shuttle took over 2 years of man power to fit the tiles, I'm pretty sure space x have nailed that
Where is it launched from?
This is Boca Chica Texas, which is essentially as far south as you can be in Texas (only a few miles from the border). Just on the shore of the Gulf as well
have you asked for a hole in the wall to place cameras?
:)
Damn SpaceX can build better border wall than United States! 😆 🤣 😂
Private companies always do a better job than government…
They are building a wall to keep Americans out...
If the fish and wildlife review is because of changes to the pad i.e. water deluge system, why were they allowed to test and static fire using it? Surely there isn't that much environmental difference for the deluge between the tests they did and a launch. If its for multiple launches then why didn't they complete the review sooner?
OMG just fly already!
The net, is it to catch the dropped tiles or the workers??
Going to catch some fishes🧞♂️
I feel Tiles are going to become a major headache for Starship in the Future.
Looks like they’re building walls to end all this voyeurism.😂
that suborbital wall is a bit excessive considering it covers basically nothing of the circumference of the base
#build_the_wall
all these new walls, gonna need taller tripods.....
Carregando......
Cavalo
If it’s losing tiles from just hanging around (or standing around), I’d say it doesn’t bode well for them holding up during re-entry
I'm hoping the tiles are not a 'weak link'. Time will tell soon enough.
That's where I think it will have the issuse for this flight reentry
Or maybe we’re just having PTSD from shuttle tiles. But I don’t see any reason for them to be doing tile work on a ship that hasn’t been any more stressed than going up and down on the chopsticks a silly number of times.
@@mb-3fazeeven if they are, it won't be a weak link forever.
I think they got bigger problems to worry about. Even in expendable form, starship is impressive. Get it flying first, then work out the reuse kinks. They learn by trying and testing. They will find out soon enough and adjust accordingly.
Boo to the silly wall. Hope the NSL cameras will still get the important shots
Dang 6 mins ago I guess
👍👍👍🇮🇳
they been saying its ready to fly for over a month, yet still installing tiles??
I think it was the spots for the crane that they put tiles on. Usually they keep those clear until near launch if they want to test it on another pad
I'm sure they are very sorry for not keeping your schedule.
They were simply 2 tiles they had not had time to do before.
I would not be surprised if they replace a few before liftoff too.
Yea, replacing 2 or 3 tiles out of 18 thousand + tiles is such a hassle to make them not ready for launch , use your head.
Ship 25 is anyway doomed after 1 flight. Now that it hasn't flown a month earlier, Musk is sprucing it up as much as possible when more time is given.
what happens if your on one of those cherry pickers and you need to shit? brave workers indeed
Sticking tiles on over salt and bird shite Hardly space stuff hygiene. More like working in scrapyard
Depth. of Motor Vehicles has good stickers 😊
SPACEX is a joke 😂
How so?
