Alright so here my journey begins...
I just, for the first time, called myself a sage when talking to another. And so I looked it up. Every point on the list...well, I make it and then some.
Teaching is my weakness...miracles I can do...but I intend to get my teaching up to snuff ASAP too..
I've been too lazy for too long. I have the knowledge within me to teach a simple path to actively bend reality rather easily. A child can, and does, do it.
Who can say this with Authority? I hope many can. I would love to meet you.
One of the more complex characteristics of a sage cannot be expressed in a two-word description. A sage is one who is a Seer. He/she sees what is actually going on rather than an idea of what is going on through the filter of the self (Shayne, The Self is a Belief). Thus, the sage knows the futility of trying to change what actually is in favor of what people think it should be.

This is a great video with excellent examples to illustrate the authors points. I do however think number 4 can create an unreasonable expectation in the minds of those who encountered the sage and therefore would think compensation would not be required. How else would the Sage provide for themselves and those in their care (helpers, family, charity, etc.)

For personal fun, I address though I need not to, I considered and sensed my very self to be a sage according to the riches in wisdom I dwell in. But to be certain, I had to look up it’s definition. I have seem to fit every characteristics of a sage.
I fit all of them.

I very much enjoyed your video. You touched on many good points and were very informative. However, I AM compelled to let you know, that Jesus the Christ was far more than a "Sage", he's not even in the same category in actuality. The Buddha, and the ones that followed were evolutionary anomalies. We True Sages put the LOVE of the One True God Jehovah (Yes, the God of the Bible is very real) and for our fellow human above ALL ELSE. The LOVE of TRUTH is our connection to the Spiritual Discernment which unlocks TRUE WISDOM. This divine connection you speak of is a connection to the SOURCE FREQUECY or what was called in antiquity..THE HOLY SPIRIT. It teaches us all things. In closing, I had no idea what a Sage actually was until I became one. Some people make the conscious decision to become a Sage..others are chosen by The One True God. And when the Ultimate Reality or Enlightenment came upon me..it was then and only then did I truly understand the phrase.."be careful what you ask for.". May the One True God Jehovah and the One whom he sent forth Jesus the Christ be with all the Holy Ones.
