Extremely informative video! I have gotten pretty decent at making points, but I am constantly chasing step and hinge fractures when I switch to indirect. After your video I went and made a few points, focusing on my angles during indirect. Way less step fractures! Great video, keep em coming

Thanks gill Buddy but I'm a couple yrs too late and I wouldn't say I've mastered indirect but it's all I do now lol.. Regardless of level I always recommend going back to the basics to refresh your skills. As always practice makes perfect.. so thank u for this free info for the newbies and ol's schoolers like elme..I remember when I first started the only info I could find was from Waldorf ... For me it was trial and error at Best buy over time u figure it out .. Flint napping and or human hands were made for it.
Thinning and notching go hand in hand are my Achilles heel. The help you have been to me with indirect percussion has given me hope. Great delivery and attention to detail sir, not to mention great filming. Especially liked your study of indirect percussion fluting. You have a "common sense approach" few possess coupled with a talent to teach. Keep those knapping tutorials coming. l can't afford to waste rocks!

Was there any actual percussion stick relic found in any dig?
Iceman Utzi was found with a copper axe along with a bow and arrow and a flint arrowhead in his back! I guess it worked.

not currently since most folks come up with their own pretty easy, but I may offer some in the future
