There were so many highlights in Robert's career and one of my absolute favorites is from his "23 a.m." cd and it's this song you have posted, "Maresias". The piano in the beginning is gorgeous and the key it's played in with the accompaniment music from the saxophone and trumpet only catapults this tune into a whole other league. The first time I heard it, it pulled at my heart strings and has a sad, melancholy sound with the saxophone, but then when the trumpet plays the song has a new breath of life and it's like you are embarking on a whole journey. This is what music is made for...TO STIR YOUR SOUL. I honestly admire and appreciate when trance and dance artists incorportate real instruments (brass, woodwind, etcetera) into their music. It shows they are living and breathing the music and taking the time to truly discover where their music, heart, and soul are going to take them. Dreamland and 23am are very similar. The slight difference is the dream drum pattern shown in dreamland.
