    Thanks for this! My washer had an issue where clothes were still very wet after the wash cycle completed. it would not enter high speed spin unless I forced a diagnostics. I had no error code show up either.
    Not sure what fixed it, but I followed your video and while the machine was open I fully cleaned the drain and made sure nothing was stuck inside, I unplugged / replugged all internal wirings, when I cleaned the white plastic I did it for 30 minutes with soap, a skinny metal wire to agitate all the gunk inside and I used lots of compressed air. I also took the pressure switch off and cleaned that small black hose. I opened the pressure switch and sanded all the contact points (saw in a different UA-cam video) and reinstalled everything. After all this steps the washer finally spins! Thank you for the video!

    Thanks for posting this video. My Whirlpool stopped doing the Spin Cycle. I followed your instructions on how to open up the washer. When I opened up the drain, I found 5 machine screws, pocket change and some random small bike parts had jammed the drain impeller, throwing a fault code. I cleaned out the impeller, put everything back together, ran diagnostics and then unplugged the machine to reset everything. Plugged the machine back in after about 10 minutes and ran a test wash. The machine runs the spin cycle now!

    Our washer was experiencing similar problems. No high speed spin, clothes soaking wet, timer wouldn't run out successfully, no error code though. After reading through "WFC7500VW0 Whirlpool Front-Loading Washer Drain & Spin Problems" on the applianceblog website, I tried the steps, cleaned the pressure hose, valve etc but did not clean the water level sensor. That did not fix the problem. Luckily before giving up I came across Rain Bow's video. Thoroughly explained - well done. Cleaning the white plastic sensor tank worked like a charm. Thank you very much for sharing your tips!

    I happen to have the exact same model, so your video helped tremendously. Like you, I cleaned the trap multiple times and the A10 error code kept coming back. In my case, I found one of my daughter's hair bands in between the wash tub and the trap and I also found that my level sensor thing was dirty, like yours was. Not sure which fixed it, but the washing is working again. Thanks so much for your invaluable contribution, I would have spent hours on this repair otherwise!

    Thank you so very much for this instructional video. With a well priced new drain pump off of eBay I saved beaucoup dollars. I could find no other video doing a full disassembly of the front of this washing machine. I did find a few others talking about how to completely check for things blocking the drains, Including one approaching from the bottom. If you’re looking also happy hunting to you.

    I have watched your video several times to remined me how to take it apart it is very good.
    I needed to replace a failed drain pump that had a hair elastic around the impeller so I had the front cover completely off. The machine worked well for a month or so but periodically I would have a problem with the machine thinking the door was not latched and after a while we got a continual F22 error which is a problem with the door lock assembly. When I opened the machine I found that there is a plastic clip with 4 pins that snaps to the door lock assembly, that was released when you take the front panel off. Simple fix, I pushed the clip until I heard a click which seems to have resolved the F22 and door sensing problems. Something to try before spending $200 on a new door lock assembly. Fingers crossed

    Thnx. I only got as far as getting the bottom cover off and found a plugged drain. The washer and dryer are tightly secured for travel in a cabinet with the dryer on top of the washer so getting to the back would have been quite a chore. The previous owners of our Motorhome were not much on preventive maintenance but they did leave me a chunk of change in the drain. Checking the drain is now on my list of annual things to check to keep rolling down the road.😊

    I had the same problem with my machine. Wouldn’t high speed spin, but if you ran quick diagnostics it would. My problem was the drive motor. More specifically the tachometer in the motor. If you pop the back panel off of the machine you can access the motor and check the continuity between pins 3&4. It should be around 60ohms.

    • @giovannigiannis5670

      I have the same washer and similar problems. It washes fine but it won’t go into high speed final spin, thus leaving my clothes soaked. I get the F25 during the long diagnostics mode (pressing cancel twice then start twice). But during the quick diagnostics test (pressing start 4 times fast) it passes without error and it DOES go into high speed spin. So that sounds like the same problem as you. Can you tell me what part number you bought for replacement and how much it cost? How hard was it to perform the replacement? Thanks!

    • @shiggzay
      @shiggzay Рік тому +1

      @@giovannigiannis5670 I was having the exact same problems. Long diag showed F25 and short diag it would spin. Part number for the motor is WPW10192987. I paid $275CAD for it. Make sure you shop around because some places are charging upwards of $750. The repair was pretty simple. Remove the back panel. Take the belt off. Unplug the motor electrical plug and there is two bolts that hold the motor on. Good luck.

      Yes, take the dryer off first. The electronic panel needs to be removed to remove the front panel. The screws for the electronic panel are under the top lid. Skim through the first 15 mins to see the whole process of getting to the water level sensor.

      Sorry to hear. Go in for one more look, thorough check of hose that drains the drum leading into the trap and pump for any blockage. Blow into the water level sensor hose…check if the sensor clicks. If you find nothing I’d suggest keep on YouTubing for alternate answers. Good luck!

Changed brushes, checked all wire harness and connections (good). Checked and clean cleaned pressure switch. Not sure if drain issue or it's a spin issue. Any ideas would help

    Thanks for this video - I have the same washer with the same issue and will try to clean the pressure sensor chamber tomorrow. I have another question I hope you can help me with (if you've tried disassembling the drain hose as well) - I already removed the black drain hose that connects the drum and the drain pump to check for blockages, and I'm not sure I put it back the right way. There is a white ball that sits in the end of the hose closest to the drum, and there is a separate, removable black rubber gasket-like piece that is contoured to the ball. Do you know or remember if the rubber gasket piece goes on top of the ball (i.e. between the drum and ball) or underneath (i.e. between the ball and the drain pump)? Thanks!

    • @RainBow-el1el
      @RainBow-el1el  2 роки тому +1

      Alex, i know the hose you are referring too as I found toonies and loonies (large Canadian coins) in mine when diagnosing the problem. I did not go so far to remove it so unfortunately can’t offer any advice. All the best with the fix.

    • @giovannigiannis5670
      @giovannigiannis5670 Рік тому

      Alex, did you ever figure this out? I **THINK** the ball goes in the black tube, and then the gasket goes on top of the ball. But then you have to decide if the gasket goes on upside-down or downside-up. And I **THINK** the correct answer is that the wide part of the gasket goes down, so it kind of cups the ball into a little chamber. This way, the narrow part of the gasket will be going upwards towards the tub. Hopefully I am explaining this in a way that makes sense.
      I will add that I made this exact same mistake as you 😂 and had a frustrating headache when I realized that I didn’t take reference pictures during the disassembly. And the manual shows the ball in the tube, but it doesn’t show the gasket. So anyway, I tried the way that made most sense to me, and hoped for the best. But in all honesty, for all I know, I put it in wrong but it still works (or maybe this is why it gives me F25… but it does still wash.. so it’s hard to know what to think, but my bet is that I put it back normally). Anyway, I will add that immediately after putting it back, the water kept filling and filling and filling. Of course my first thought was that I put it in wrong, but it turned out that I actually messed up the water level sensor, so the machine didn’t know when to stop filling. I knew this because when I blew into the hose of the water level sensor it wasn’t giving me any clicks. So I opened it up again, tightly reassembled it, and now it clicked. Then I installed again, sealed up the washer for the fifteenth time, and it worked. Now I’m back to troubleshooting the high speed problem… it’s one problem after another with this machine. Anyway, hopefully this burst of information will be useful to somebody.

      @@giovannigiannis5670 Never got it figured, and was never able to get the washer to go to fast spin reliably after the issue started. Small loads seemed most prone to not going to fast spin. So, ended up using the maintenance override I found in the manual a lot to force a fast spin at the end of the cycle as needed. This worked for a few months and then the drum stopped spinning altogether. At that point we decided we'd had enough and sprung for a new washer.

      It was mainly a spin problem. I initially thought it was caused by a clogged drain because I pulled some coins from the drain hose that connects the drum to the drain pump. The second time I pulled it apart I discovered the water level sensor was clogged and after cleaning it the spin issue disappeared.
