  • In this video, you can see how german driving licence lessons are made.
    In Germany the driving licence ("Führerschein") is a governmental privilege given to those who request a license for any of the categories they desire. It is required for every type of motorized vehicle with the exception of the smallest mopeds below 50cm³, with a speed limit of 25km/h, as well as motorized bicycles (even for these, there is a minimum age of 15 years and a small mandatory driving school course). The types of licenses one may obtain are the same in all the European Economic Area. See European driving license. The minimum age to obtain a driving license is: 16 years for a restricted motorcycle up to 125 cm³, 17 years for a car with a legal guardian, 18 years for unrestricted car and 21 years for buses and cargo vehicles.[1] However, in most German states, it is possible to get a license for a small motorcycle up to 50cm³ and limited to 45 km/h at the age of 15. Certain vintage East German motorcycles with top speeds of up to 60 km/h may be ridden with this type of license, making them especially popular with young riders.

    a very nice driving lesson! thanks to both of you. Can somebody please tell me how many minor mistakes result in a fail in the driving test?

    • @CursedDwarf
      @CursedDwarf 3 роки тому +12

      - For the minor mistakes there is no definite answer. It depends on the instructor and his overall impression of you handling the vehicle and the different traffic laws like speeding. Even if you do those a couple of times, the driving test must not be over. He will most likely ask you at the end what you think you did wrong while driving. And what my impression was and what I was told by my driving teacher is, to be open to criticism and tell the truth.
      - Its a different case for the more severe mistakes e.g. if you happen to damage the vehicle; or by ignoring stop signs; if the instructor has to intervene. Or bypassing a stopping passenger bus (with all 4 indicators on) faster than walking speed - For all those and more, you will fail immediately.
      - A good teacher will give you a few hints about what to be aware of on the road while the test is commencing and right at the end. For example you have to turn your head completely while going out of the car and open the door with your right hand. This shows the instructor you are taking care of the blind spot ("Schulterblick") even when exiting the car.
      In conclusion stay calm and collected. Drive defensive but without being a hindrance. If you have the right of way, take it, but don't force it. This way you can maybe get a more lenient instructor and it's overall better especially as a beginner. Because the real learning happens when you start the engine without an instructor looking after you :)
      But you can do it, for sure as have millions before you. Good luck!

      The white car should have waited. But by German law you always have to expect that someone makes a mistake and be prepaired to brake for the one making a mistake. You are not allowed to force your right of way ("Erzwingen der Vorfahrt").

      @@Cadfael007 I'm indian. Whenever I drive while my father's in the passenger seat he says ,"How incompetent you are. You must force your way, not wait for others. If you wait, you'll have to wait for an eternity". Could be partially true in our circumstances. But its funny that someone driving here for years has to re-learn entire thing to drive properly in europe.

    • @Jessebella1
      @Jessebella1 4 роки тому

      Hi I expect from what i have seen he is doing everything himself, at one point the guy asks him to slow down for example as he was exceeding the speed limit, at another the instructor asked him to keep accelerating a little bit longer. Also bits like 7:17 when he changes gear himself. Im currently taking lessons in Germany but cannot speak German at all, is hard work but getting there. I have moved on from holding just the steering wheel but am far from learning their road signs still lol. Anyway if you are in the process too, good luck!
